While I hope for more seasons to wrap things up nicely in a happily ever after, the truth is we rarely if ever see that happen. This was a cheaply produced short drama, kinda like fastfood. May it serve as HJJs comeback if nothing else!!

Promomaterial pairs 2ML with the maid, I don’t see them trying anything fancy in the remaining 11 episodes.

I‘ll pretend they are all between 27-35 so I can still enjoy the show.

The FL acts so childish and immature, the way she shows up in a professional setting is nuts. Maybe the script allows her to grow up in the next 20 episodes? Right now, she is dumb arm candy.

Quite a choice to pair up young ML with older, widowed FL and young SFL with older, widowed SML. The crossed age brackets are a damper, though at least the cast is excellent and I like the story so far.

Either the kid gloves came off in Ep 2 or it really is a giant hoax and everyone will leave alive but severely traumatized.

I noticed it too and it is so off-putting! It’s the same in the second episode and I feel so sorry for that cat.

Yeah, MDL is going to take some time to remove them. It is a bummer some people take joy in spreading their own misery- not giving them any attention works best for me.

While I reported that user myself, claiming they are driving people away is a bit of a hyperbole. Just curate your own experience on the internet and block trolls!

Not into the ML lookwise but I enjoy his acting. The ensemble cast makes this a good show right now.
I am not sure about the quest for a baby- becoming a mom isn‘t the be all/end all for a woman. Why settle the FL with pregnancy and birth? I wouldn’t even tell her to get a puppy right now.

The princess would be a nice fit for the bastard son. They both want peace and love. Though I guess if her older bro dies (likely) or he ends up on a crazy quest for revenge, that might be out of the picture.

I‘m not sure how legal this site or link sharing is. I just copied the native title from this page, put it through google and went with iyf tv. It comes with subtitles and loads the next episode on its own.

One I found in the App store of my iPhone. It translates pictures, too, which is quite useful for subtitles.

The raws are out if you are feeling adventurous enough. I googled the Chinese title and found them. Now, I barely understand Mandarin and I seriously have to watch it on my tablet with my translator app on mobile phone at hand. But so far, I like it (I’m on ep 4).
Not the biggest production value at merely 10min/ep but HJJ gives it his best (as he should, it is his comeback) and it has all the nice C-drama tropes.

He has no ambition whatsoever beyond getting loved back by her. It is quite sad to see him go: what if I‘m healthy though, she’ll love me then, right? She gotta!!… while ignoring her own agency.
He only has his bodyguard to rely on, who gives awful advice. MLs general would have put an end to the simping real quick! And his adopted dad genuinely failed him- why is the supposed heir not married already?

I feel sorry for her adopted bro, he is used as a puppet and tries to do everything he is told to do while feeling impotent. He probably isn’t even really in love with FL, she was just the one consistently nice to him. Heck, they didn’t even properly grief for him?!
Now his bodyguard is enabling his decent into villainhood (& probably redemption via giving his live for ML/FL). He should have been married off to that Gui lady, bonding over his need for medical care.
