let's agree to disagree. the fact that it happened so fast just shows that they weren't "important" characters. they just wanted a reason for the ml to go through all those lonely emotions that led to the final "tragic" death which was beach dude leader's (sorry I can't memorize names) death that was done by yet another "best friend" who happened to feel what arisu felt.
but since beach dude and his friend were in the game longer/had more suffering built up in them it made "scar face's" rampage bigger, but that too was also another angst for that final massacre/gore.
and since arisu had felt that 1st lost of his friends he was able to "discover" the lie from "scar face" which in the end led to them finding the real witch and wining ;D

so I just felt like things were way too perfectly laid out, everything led to the next point, even the bus game, just becasue arisu lost his friends so early he didn't want to "leave anyone behind", but in the end that was another winning point perfectly laid out for them ;D I mean the 2 others with them died so easily so why was it so important for him to "go back", becasue it was their destination to win ;)

I still liked this drama, I'd prefer to think it's because it was short things needed to be "convenient" rather than the fact that it was lacking writing-wise

indeed, I wish we could add characters to lists though, it'd be easier to add since some actors might not be my fav but I still "approved" of their character in a certain drama ;p

yeah for this season they used their deaths as angst to drive the ml, but it just feels too flat

didn't the game say only the wolf wins? that's why it became a reversed hide and seek.
idk how much of the game is "real". ie if game death = real life death or not, but yeah they don't come back for the rest of the eps and they heavily imply that they're dead and gone ;) I kept the hope that maybe dying just meant leaving the game, idk the full story though

why did they go and do that to me! this is not the hospital playlist of reporters, this is the money game of reporters! TT_TT it hurts me more becasue I LOVE kyung soojin, and I was living for the sismance but they just went ahead and brutally killed her!!!!!!!!!!!! TT_TT

while watching this I thought this was like Saw mixed with The Liar Games. maybe even a little bit of Matrix and The 100, ooh also The Hunger Games xD

I feel like if they wanted bullying then they could've made it subtle but torturous, like with now someone just needs to film him beating kids so openly and his over, he keeps beating the 3 friends together so there are too many witnesses

true evilness comes from calmness and manipulation, like nobody knows

it's just cuz every other drama has bullying in them as conflict, though this was almost penthouse level with it's dedication to kill xD

the 1st ep was great, but suddenly it became about young rich people bullying and old rich people corruption ;/

this was a horrible boring lifeless monologue ;/ basically she lost her job, became a housekeeper who developed a one sided crush on a guy who refused her and labeled her a noona and Kim Young Min was a ghost? and when she finally wrote her script sophie reads it and says it's boring

so like why did this even happen ;/ I thought it'd be a sweet slice of life with friendships but it was a useless daily life of random people....

maybe you should make it a full on list ;p my biggest goal from this article is to get more people to notice there are indeed many many great female characters hidden under the large never ending pile of cliches ;p
