great acting, heavy plot, in ways, knowing a bit here and there of korean history, their past that led them here, and the future which comes in movies like Best Friend, things make sense

To break it down, great acting, short but really dragged out and all over the place, crazy to the point it was fun But the first 5eps were bland, messy, annoying editing scenes happened in cutted sequences and they left the explanation for later, when a normal linear editing would’ve been enough beside of the two timelines, each one had another messed up sequence that left one dizzy
Like showing someone bloody, someone tied, someone screaming, and after two eps they explained it🤓 I still don’t know when or if the car accident happened 🤣

Rather than confused, I don’t like the jump cut, same actually happened in lovely runner, I think, lol it’s been a while since I paused that Imma continue just cuz of the actors tho
it was so short, yet so repetitive and still so underdeveloped they had a whole house of great actors, with a solid premises, but it got wasted by bad writing
started off so damn good . i was soo excited.. then wtf happened?? GukHo like some supernatural man surviving…
he even survived a professional hitman🤣 so I agree, they were better off bringing in new targets and new people that wanted them dead
I'm hoping somi's scene was cuz they just worried about gukho being in the same place, rather than something actually happening, cuz jungsik would've killed him faster and more brutally
honestly not liking this doesn't mean one is a romcom fan, for lovely runner, it was a time travel drama and it had it's charms in that aspect, they played it well, but I got bored and put it on hold
and that's the problem these days, everyone is in a slump so dramas need to capture one's attention well, we don't owe writers to stay if they'll reveal everything later...
anyway, for me I only watched two eps and, having two timelines with only the "hotel" as the shared connection, for now, makes it hard to care, it's like two dramas in one, two different stories are unfolding, honestly only the past would've been enough A good "two time lines" for me was circle, it was clear the first half was the past, and the second half was the future and a good thriller for me was a bloody lucky day, nothing was as they seemed and the plot twists revealed were well timed and well balanced
I think it's because she was a relative of the victim and wanted to do justice by her own hands like the mask…
