I'm looking forward to this because of 2 things: Kim Jae Wook's 1st main main role, and 2nd I hope it'll have that "mature/grown up ish" romance I'm looking for in a romcom...
wait, so ep4 was the end? it ended a month ago and I didn't even know I finished it? the story barely started yet it ended? it's not even a cliffhanger.. though now after using google translate, I see that they described it as a "pilot" drama that might get a 2nd season... they should've at least ended the video with "might be continued in a new season" ;/ I've seen 5min dingo ad dramas that had better use of their time...
well the 1st ep was kinda mediocre... it followed every other "school bullying genre" pattern... I don't know if they have "content" for 16 eps.. we know it's bullying, there are people who'd prefer to save the school's "violent free reputation" rather than saving an actual kid, and we know who the bullies are... where is this going? I mean in memory they solved it in 1 or 2 eps and in angry mom it was more than just bullying so.. I am interested to see where this is going though...
I didn't understand the moment where Mi Young cried too ?? She was worried about him I guess but I thought it…
right? I kinda felt like it was that or she was upset that he didn't tell her, but it kinda also felt like it was because he "keeps" being a hero? like she's lecturing him about being "too good"/popular... she said stuff like "what did you do this time?", "I'm proud of you, but ...", "why is this so hard for me?"... and we saw her having a "hard" time because of the reporters... but it just doesn't make sense...
lol, ikr! I thought they'd drag their wedding for a few eps but everything happened so fast, which is refreshing xD

was Jang Dong Yoon casted as a "cross dresser" because of how hot he looked in Just Dance xD also, I've missed Kim So Hyun! even though they have a big age gap, JDY does not look like it, so it's a sailing ship ;)
oooh, so that's how they'll continue this drama~ this is such a well paced drama, they really built their foundation now.. kinda like a chief kim/bomi feel.. I laughed so hard until I cried when he was "saving" the old man xD I see this drama's humor really matches me, yey I found my next comedy fix after STTS ;)
also, we got more Hoo Ja in ep 2~ and when she started doing her winky nose crunch thing I almost fainted xD soooo cuttee~~
I don't like Mi Young though.. she's not an undercover cop, so why is she overreacting over her husband becoming a "hero" to the point that she cried?? ;/ lol, she'll be happy when she finds out he's a "bad" con artist ;p
ok I see that they are being "episodic", but I still didn't connect with anything... they don't just talk too much, they chitchat alooot... plus all of that recaps ;/ law genres are like romcoms in kdrama world, it always follow the same pattern, they all have a "wrongfully accused dad" too.. some of them atleast have a new fresh look at the small side crimes, but I almost laughed when they tried to pull a "twist" at the end of the ep... I skipped 70% of ep4 and I still knew where that was going... I love junho, but I don't like the character much or any other character for that matter, and I don't feel like this will provide anything new or shocking plot wise... so it's a drop for me...
I really like this. it has a nice pace, and they didn't pull any cheap cliffhanger twists... they built a solid foundation, they took care of all of the things they promised in the synopsis and the teasers, unlike confession ;/ I like that, now I don't have to wait for things to actually start because it already started. do I make any sense xD
anyway, on a biased note I started laughing the moment siwon started talking.. I just love his sense of humor and his facial expressiveness ;) I didn't like part of Mi Young's initial aggressiveness at the start of their relationship, but after that they made a cute couple~ and she knows how to fight, so~ the only minus, not enough Kim Min Jung ;(
now I understand why I didn't remember anything related to the synopsis, they just talked about it now.. it's a risk for them to use the 1st two/three eps as a pre main plot/mainly sub plot, and I have to say I don't like that move... it's like how with one of my strange father synopsis they talk about Jung Hee moving in with his new "family" yet that was only mentioned by ep14.. anyway, I don't know with this drama... the acting is ok, the female lead annoying, the characters are not that deep/I'm not connecting to them, and the plot is really really vague... since they only talked about the main plot by ep3 does that mean it'll only focus on that or will it have more sub plots? I usually give it 4 eps to get a feel of the drama, but this wasted 3 eps for me...
now this show is the type of exo content I needed ever since I became a fan~ I hope even Lay gets his part, even if it's just about him in china, or it could be about his new album ;)
I keep getting dragged back in... the acting is perfect, and I still not like some of the plot lines (power struggles and revenge) but it is really intriguing, maybe the best in this genre ;)
I especially liked ep8's little "dance", the writers don't end it with a "people randomly believe everything" and they keep throwing in one development twist after the other..

I like her as a character, but I don't like the fact that Kim Soo Hyun "must" help her out... that's the main problem.. she's suddenly hopeless because he has to "save" her.. I hope it was just for a dramatic opening, I'd hate to see them waste her potential... the great thing about No Mercy was that they didn't have a "male" main lead, and therefore, they didn't need a man to save the day xD
one of the things I liked about Do Hyun Jin is that even though she's "strong" and confident she isn't unrealistically capable of beating everyone up nor does she think she is.. for example the female lead in No Mercy, she was so tiny and even though she had good fighting techniques, 1 woman fighting against 10 men doesn't work out...
this and kill it are my favorite on going dramas right now.. even the side characters and their screentime doesn't feel like a waste, the male lead is refreshingly realistic -not all men are black belt trained cold killers- and I LOVE Hong Seo Jung, she just keeps getting better and better~ I also like the young police girl (Kim Ji Hang?) and the look on her bf's face when he saw her fighting and then "using" her to save the day was adorable xD
this kinda gives me Stranger/Life kind of a vibe... it's dark, and serious, but for some reason I can't connect with the story.. I'll give it 1 or 2 more eps, but I might end up dropping it...

I'm glad my review helped, but if you had any interest in this you might want to try 1 or 2 eps and see if it suits you, because for me I knew it wasn't my style right from the start and I wished it'd get better but it didn't ;)
yeah, I couldn't get past the 1st half of ep5 without skipping scenes... it's like they are all crying over something that happened in ep1 and there's still no improvement, in either the plot or characters... they talk on and on about the same stuff, then they focus on useless side characters, and they only use his powers for petty neighborhood crimes then at the end they show 1 sec of a man in a mask....
what I hate about something like this is that they use the "he's not good yet" or "a newly discovered superpower plot", to drag the episodes while "he tries to learn about it"... it's like they start at point zero with the characters and try to see where it goes without much plan... this show actually reminds me alot of While You Were Sleeping, but atleast she knew about her powers(?) and it was used as more than just a side plot(?) and as I remember they had actual solid side crimes...
