as I said "I assumed non of it happened..." but why did the father/son think back to the time she had black hair ;)
and that's why I said, "maybe her time with those 2 was real",
or it's that the writers made a mistake and tried to reuse those times to add impact to the son finally realizing that his mother was regretting the past ;)
as for taste, what I didn't like was that it was all fake, as I've said in my other comments bellow, I just watched 10eps of delusions that never happened and no one heard about... I really hate that type of "it never happened" thing. like how some time traveling or fantasy dramas end their plot with a "reset"... everything we watch never happened xD
also, it was reeeaaallly draggy in the middle...
and since you mentioned Memory, that's more of the type of "Alzheimer" stories I like ;)
aannnd about Mr Sunshine, it was more about the characters personalities and my personal "interest" in that type of modernized historical..
I mean they could've kissed "behind the scenes", they never mentioned that they "didn't" kiss xD (also it could've been because of the 20 year real age gap with the actors, I've seen a movie with that type of age gap where the lead actor said he didn't want to burden the main actress with a kiss)
those 3 guys didn't die for her, part of it was they "realized" their love for their country because of her?
eugene wanted her to live because her "fire" to save the country was stronger.. and probably because he loved her too..
hui seong died because he wanted to fight those corrupted country selling bad people ;)
and dongmae died because he didn't want to be with those japanese people anymore...
she even looked older too, so what? was there a time skip?? there was no "old cafe", and nothing about modern Joon Ha was right, he was a doctor, a happy successful doctor.. but what about her "dad" remembering times she had "black hair" with a more "youthful look"?
I can accept that her time with her son/dad and his wife was the only real thing, then I remember the grandson who was a modernized vr of her brother and not her real grandson ;/
they never explained it, so how am I to know what was real and what was fake?
if you dropped this then you're better off, and if you want to watch this, then a friendly advice, just watch the first 2-3 eps and the last 2.5 eps (last part of ep 10 and all of ep11 &12)...
and if I were to rate it just based on those 6eps then I give this a 5... or a 4.5...
so like, non of it was real, it was just delusions...
though I'm glad golf lady's arc and her 1st reaction wasn't a total denial that'd hurt the main lead's "creditably" which would lead to him losing his job (that's how dramas keep 1 plot for 16eps) ;p
I do enjoy the random "happy" moments, like the dance lessons xD
lol, I thought Oh Soo Hyuk would be "invincible" or like fine even when shot, I was like a psychopath like you wouldn't just be easily shot dead ;P
one of the good things about this is that it's confusing us with just their "actors" list, I wondered how Yeon Jung Hoon was a 3rd when he only appeared for 2 secs or how easily Jo Han Sun died, without it playing us with a "who's the killer" thing...
non of it was real, not just the time traveling, but EVERYTHING! is that the price we had to pay just so the writers could pull a big "twist".. it's worse than resetting a time traveling plot, it's not even a "they learn from those 10eps", it was just fake...
what confuses me, or angers me, is that when she "woke" up she seemed to be perfectly ok, like she knew she was in a nursing home and she knew all of the other real stuff about her family and friends... and really non of the 10eps happen to her, it was really just her imagination. she didn't tell people she was 25, or that she time travels, she just imagined it.... everything. 10eps... were just... NOT REAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she didn't even think: oh I was "dreaming" or "imagining". they never talked about those 10 hours....
Kim Young Soo was even more useless.. why the heck did she need to "imagine" his love story? and his looser characters solo parts, or any of the other people around her.. it wasn't enough for it all to be a "delusion", the draggy parts were made just to fill in time... (KYS'S real future self was way better)
and if things weren't draggy enough after the "reset" they wasted time on pants granma and her own "delusions", lol that was shocking, can they stop making us believe the delusions.. like what's the point?
long rant in spoiler ;)
I already loved the female lead from the start, and the male lead grew on me after that scene in the forest(?) in ep4, and I really like the teamance too..
I started it when kbs's youtube channel 1st posted the subs, then I even went back for the pilot eps...
after a while -by eps 20 or so- I was traveling so I couldn't keep track of the show for a few weeks and I decided to drop it....
but one day when I was bored with nothing else to watch I remembered a new family joined -the triplets- and I thought it would be easy to watch without going back to all of the eps I missed xD
but afterwords I even went back and watched those too, and I kept watching it weekly ever since ;)
