I am contemplating a rewatch of s1 cuz I’m so vaguely remembering stuff but Over all sungmin ahjussi is amazing and I’m actually enjoying the pace
New fl, ofc she’s overally typecasted so she screams sus but I’m liking the cat and mouse between her and sungmin ahjussi, she’s the boss so she has the “upper hand” and she throws so many lowblows but sungmin ahjussi doesn’t get intimidated naturally cuz he’s seen it all I’m also liking the jaded vibes atleast for once it had an excuse and we’ve gotten to see the prequelness of the traumas🥹
Best thing I’ve watched this year, not a big complaint cuz the first half of 2023 was full of disappointments but still to make something watchable, engaging and not repetitive in this day and age is rare
Park gyu young truly carried this show but the other cast, lack of many cliches and the beautiful aesthetics made a great package 👍🏻

Watched 3eps and this is what most new aired dramas miss They keep doing the same cliches over and over again without it getting “out of style” while also not even trying to add anything new But this has a good balance, poor fl, rich ml, fl is hated, total cliches but the surrounding elements makes it different 👍🏻
Fl is a bland white rice, plain and characterless Ml is a very salty soup, overcomplicats everything like a 5 year old The friends are the extra side dishes no one wants to try

It was pretty basic, madongsuk beats ppl, ppl beat ppl and madongsuk still beats ppl that beat ppl It had a couple of funny scenes, “-shibal bar? -No, that’s Cyber bar” And the motel scene had me laughing 😭😭🤣 I think they need more characters to stand by him, like it became a recurring joke that his partners came in after he beat everyone up, so it was funny but 1on1 will always have a btch slap KO from dongsuk
Also lee joonhyuk is HOT, but here he felt basic, not threatening enough or as crazy as the previous two main villains, just bland, even my mom was like “all those villains feel the same”
