Miss Back is a variety show but it showed alot about the behind the scenes of "forgotten" idols. they suffer so much mistreatment, they're belittled and ignored, then after years stuck in the feild "training" they're released into the wild outside world confused and lost
dam is as refreshing as kyoko (the manga vr) and Sun Woo is as clueless as kyoko (and ren too) xD the anti cliches in both dramas mix so well, if skip beat had a 2021 adaptation I'd imagine it'd be like My Roommate Is a Gumiho, minus the Gumiho xD
for people who liked ep5 and jun's cute side they should totally watch please don't date him, he was the definition of UWU there
The vibe of the story is similar. They all work in the entertainment industry, the ML is more popular and cold and the FL is klutzy and thinks she's inferior
the moods of the stories were similar, both had two lost souls trying to survive and both had SYJ, also unrelated but both have my favorite actors ;D

beside it being written by the same writer, both have the same class, same powerful smart women and the same struggle and tension of the rich vs poor
both have kim seo hyung and both have that "rich greedy people that can never be happy". both are female centered and full of makjang
no angry mom pretending to be a teen in Imitation, but both start the same way and their tragedy might be similar
