I think this year they're attempting 1950s more in different places of history, which is nice
the whole mood feels like watching a theatrical piece, jeongnyeon is like na heedo, but it's a characteristic of energy and youth
I love the stage parts, tho I do dislike the vibes, everyone hates her cuz the sunbae likes her and she has raw talent, like chill…
kim taeri's daesang was well deserved but the writing did lack in some aspects
i'd have loved more development and faster growth to highlight her strengths, there were some angst elements that were cheaply added, so the overall pace lacked
but the acting was on point

In 10mins I wrote a better EVE
The problem wasn't the romance, it wasn't the age gap, it wasn't even the fact that ceo was trash. But the problem was the execution. Ceo had 0 sympathy, 0 chemistry, 0 personality,, and 0 common ground with raelThey never had proper conversations, they never connected on anything (beside ceo projecting his mom being treated like trash to having his own mistress he didn't treat like trash)
He saw her pain, he never pushed her to explain, but he never tried to comfort her. He never tried to get to know her.
This is a bit of spoiler from Misty, but there they start off as a married couple losing touch, and the ml makes so much effort, they connected again and build a relationship. Then the spoiler part, then the writer snatched our hearts and stabbed us right in the feels and showed the ML was the murderer.. so he was "the bad guy", but he had depth, he had a backstory, he had a connection with the fl, he had a relationship and they took us on that journey with them then broke our hearts
Here, sure I was team eunpyung (and I'll talk more about him later), but here the ML starts off by lusting over the FL. He pushes her down and tells her to be his dog. He then becomes the dog because he wants to have her. He starts doing things he was missing in his marriage and projecting it on rael. The rose house with the kids, the laughter. It was all his playbook of a happy life. Then he gets angry at her for ignoring him.. then he hits her, pushes her badly and hurts her while she runs away scared and he doesn't stop, he continuedchasing her and hurting her.. until she pushes him once and he falls like the fragile old man he is..
Non of those are love. And his redemption? "Whoops, the company I wanted, and the guy that died, was your dad? Oh no..."
It didn't matter he killed. It didn't matter he killed her dad.. he was "sad" he was the reason her life fell apart.. and his solution? Pretend to run away to die.. and he just goes to his favorite church looking perfectly ok. No pain. No drinking to ease his pain. No regret. No tears. He was jut walking in to throw a pity party but rael was already there..
SHE had so MUCH more emotion. He didn't return or deserve.
Though her emotions are wrong too. His greed was the reason her dad died. He wasn't innocent. He didn't care he killed. He never treated her right. She was practically his victim, the victim he mentally kidnapped, until she thought he was showing her kindness and love
It's not even toxic love. It's a cheap attempt at makjang that failed miserably cuz the ML horribly portrayed his flat character
And what the writer didn't realize. The real HOT painful healing torturous love and chemistry could've come from eunpyung
He was the only person she showed her true face, her true heart. But she didn't think she deserved happiness or love so she'd run away from him. but once she wavers for 1 second eunpyung would've embraced her for a passionate kiss. Then she'd again feel guilty cuz all she wants is revenge. She doesn't think she can survive and her only goal is to break them all down and possibly kill/die. So she pushes him away. But his love would be too much for her so she'd cave, and they'd have had all the sweet scenes in the beach and church, but he gets hurt so she pushes him away again. And then that church scene at the end would've been them. With the people out for bloody murder being sora, and ceo who like his scene when he found out the truth, couldn't live with the idea that rael actually loved eunpyung and never him
In both vrs, the perfect ending is bloody murder. With ceo of course being the one dying
and updating this as the drama ended but, I'm satisfied with the bloody murder🤣 I've been bamboozled by drama endings before, a happy romance ends up a tragedy, a makjnag ends up a romcom with a wedding scene ending, and many many dead leads come back at the end, I didn't trust them one bit
but this is the best option, he never repented or even acknowledged his wrongdoings, but atleast with his death rael could move on from all her pain, and with eunpyeong going to her, I can happily imagine their reunion. though no one mentioned the poor kids at the end🤣
▪︎Acting:
• Rael = 100/10. She carried the whole show with her expressions and emotions
• Sora = 8/10. She was a bit penthouse dramatic, but she was also all talk and not much bite. For someone who has killed before she was intimidated by Rael too much
• Ceo = 1/10. The only time he showed character and passion was when he tried to steal his father's company. Almost all of his other scenes were 👁👄👁
• Eunpyung = 8.5/10. He did have a bit of 🥺 face too much
▪︎Character:
• Rael = 8/10. She was crazy, not afraid, diabolical, tempting, captivating and dangerous. But her suckup persona was too unbelievable, if a person tells you what you want to hear in that low voice it's clear they're lying. Her passion and love for ceo made no sense even as someone who lacked love and couldn't differentiate between love and toxicity
• Sora = 6/10. She did all she wanted but she feared her dad. I'd have assume she'd have done more to Rael, fought back more and spread rumors instead of crying and screaming 90% of her time
• Ceo = 1/10. Zero personality, zero passion, zero drive. All lust, cheap traumatic past. Had no sense of responsibility, only cared for his child when he opposed his wife. Wanted a mistress to treat her like his toy. A murder but also a pity party thrower.
• eunpyung = 7/10. He had more potential, he ruined his character when he asked her if she liked ceo, then dug his own grave when he kept telling her she can't then put the final nail in his coffin when he told her to go after ceo..
His slow love, his care and passion for her though were beautiful, he ruined it when he became too devoted to her. But that scene when he cooked for her, and his confessions were my favorite scenes
▪︎Plot = 6/10. It was just another revenge drama, the cheating was supposed to make it different and it had potential
▪︎Plot development = 1/10. By ep 12 I just thought to myself, what did I watch for 12+ hours? Basically nothing. No character development, no move in revenge plot, and the cheating scandal became so flat and stale. The biggest tension was the kid's birthday party but it never went anyway
▪︎Romance = -100/10. I'm not a romance fanatic, I never supported the normal jerk ml/naive fl plot move. But this was even worse than that. There was no reason, no passion, no connection, no use. This should've 100% been Rael using him till the end, and then the Ceo losing his sht and showing his trash personality, which he did in ep, 12? But then they did a 180, with no real redemption and just went back to acting he was hurt. And then he would see how he was just as trashy as Sora.
▪︎OST = I love the main song so much, the whole ost was on par to seo yeji's mood and acting
▪︎Rewatch = I actually never Rewatch tho I did Rewatch some scenes to make edits and I wish I was a bit better at editing so I could take all of this and make it about Rael and Eunpyung

men are one sighted and naive..
1st love, especially at 11-13, or even waiting for "love" is like online shopping. you look at the picture, you imagine yourself wearing that dress, you are in love so you order it but it's international shipping so you need to wait atleast 2 weeks so you anticipate it daily.then it arrives, you feel happy, open the package and try it on, it is indeed beautiful. but that's it, you take it off and put it in the closest. the "love" was that journey alone.
with 1st love, you are in love with the image. there's no guaranty you can live with the same outfit you saw once online! I mean, you can't be sure the person of your imagination is a real enough person to connect with.
Young Ho had no control in his life so he grabbed at the only thing that made him happy, that one random encounter when he was 12.
he knew atleast he could "control" that, he could take the steps to find her, she'd be his happiness and light.
and when he did find her, they talked, but he also met an actual living existence in front of him. someone real he could talk eye to eye, someone who'd answer back right away, someone who liked him 1st but he didn't know if he'd like her back when he already had the sure set "1st love" talking to him.
kang sora was that consent insta dress ad that keeps following you around. it looks beautiful but would it make you happy as the one you already ordered?
now, honestly if I thought Young Ho was annoying wait to hear about So Hee. she gets a letter, her sister says no I don't know him. she writes back as the sister and tells her sister every reply. the sister is in love, or well she has "excitement", the chance to choose from the ads, So Hee keeps fulling it and fools her sister
but time skip and stupid move #1 (yes non of the above were the stupid part). she too waits for the same dress as her sister. she sets a date to pick that dress.. she had every chance to go meet that dress! but she just doesn't and Young Ho waits for 9 freaking years for his dress to come! who the heck made "when it rains" a rule? she was not bound by anything to that stupid silly promise.. it's like she said "when it snows in summer" and waits for global warming..
waiting for paper love is not waiting for love! the real waiting here would've been if sujin x youngho happened. that'd have been her waiting for real love. he was waiting for someone he met once as 12, he would've even recognize her as an adult..
yep and it gets wore. they reveal that the 1st love was indeed So Hee not her sister as both he and her sister assumed. so not only did she just had to lie once to her sister, 2 she could've met him separately, or better yet make up a lie about a different guy, 3 she didn't lie to him per say only her name, but 4 for a while he thought she was dead! and he still waited! lol it gets more stupid as I recall the events xD
SHE MADE HIM THINK SHE'S DEAD! and he ran to meet her despite this huge confusion. I don't care for happy endings I prefer to think they never met and they all live independent loveless lives until someone new comes in..
basically there were 3 women, he knew one from his childhood memory, he met one in his 20s and the last was someone he met on paper.
kang sora always gives me sls xD I really don't think many fls gave me sls like her.
kang hanuel needs to stop this repetitive bumpkin character too
well korean writers are fixated with 1st love too much and think it's unique heart wrenching melo

both seasons female leads were unreasonably forced to be weak and unable to perform surgery until the middle part of the drama, and they were given a sudden "you are healed now" and everything was ok again..
the overall plot was kinda weak and I didn't care for the repetitive politics here, I honestly hope there's no s3, and
I usually hate medical dramas so the fact that I got through this means it's the best of the worst? xD
this is the best performance out of Ahn Hyo Seop, he was the highlight of the drama~
the ost for this is gold, it has great singers like baekhyun, chanyeol, punch, gummy, changha, heize, mamamoo among others~
my rewatch values are either a 1 or a 10, so~

If one looks at this as a historical, it follows the basic pattern for that genre; the lonely paranoid king, the birth secret, the "we can't be together for so and so reasons" and the desire for the crown.
But this drama actually dealt with those cliches really well. I could say it was the "model" way of dealing with it. for one, Dong Joo was actually used to her full potential as a female lead, she was stubborn, jaded and "too careful of attachments", but she was independent, she worked hard to hone her "fighting skills" and they actually USED those skills for the greater good of the plot! also she had a great balance of when to be "cold" vs "cute" during the development of the romance.
Nokdu, well what can I say about dear sweet Nokdu... for starters, he is now my num1 favorite male lead character ever! I love the "sweet" kind, but I don't think they are as widely written as the "Nice Male Lead" tag says they are :)
if one is not as sweet, cute, playful, and easily sulky as Nokdu then they are not the "nice" type..
I can go on and on about his characteristics, but I'll talk about Lady Kim instead ;p
SHE was the main point of this drama, "the wind that carried the plot?", I wish they used her more but seeing her again at the end really made my day (and the decision to give this a 10 easier ;p )
overall I think this great a "Newbie Friendly" drama one can suggest to friends that want to start kdramas, especially for historical genres that might seem too heavy for a newbie.
The ost was also full of amazing mood makers I need to listen to separately and add to my favorite ost list ;p
my rewatch values are either a 1 or 10, and though I might skip the heavy stuff here, I'd LOVE to watch my favorite couple Nokdu and Dongjoo!❤

the beauty of youth
this was more than just an ending, this was the journey of youth, friendship and loveidk if I should start with how beautiful yejin was, or if I should say this was not twenty five twenty one, though there is an explanation why the title is that way, this was a youth drama, hints of the future, and a bit of the 20s romance. it's not a spoiler to say they were 18 and 22 for the 1st halfish, then 19 and 23 till the 3.5/4s and that's why the bits of the 2521 was really rushed and brashed over
so divided in sections 18 and 22, was about a girl doing everything only for her dream and a boy who couldn't do anything for his dream. and in ways they became each others push
they met again as 19 and 23, they got closer, they were selfless, they were full of laughter, new emotions and beautiful adventures
they "officially" got together as 20 and 24 so this was not an awkward adult/highschooler romance. love isn't shallow, it's more than just dating and skinship, it was companionship, understanding and support
then came the 21 and 25, and being a long term fan of disappointment I can say I have every intention to erase and not accept their interpretation and attempts to just say "1st loves don't last"
ESPECIALLY since yerim and 2ml ended up together.. THE BETRAYAL. they were shallow, they were puppy love and they had non of the depth of heedo and yejin so I DO NOT ACCEPT how they could get married and be happy and the actual 2 people who supported and communicated so much could end it for silly matters
and I shall call them silly matters because, A- they kept pushing them in a corner with "reporter will hurt his subject if they were in a relationship". but that was used for yerim and it became a punch in the face of heedo and yejin's relationship. which is weak writing
and B- he leaves the country, gets sucked into a wormhole of sadness and disrepair, he keeps apologizing for not being there and heedo keeps feeling the burden of his apologies.. and they throw in another punch "my mom was never there, it's not a relationship I want" as if it can't be solved.
why did she have to get married so fast, what's wrong with long distance, what's wrong with putting it on hold and reconnecting, again the writers were just set on the "not ending up together" that every move they made was a deliberate weak attempt rushing them there
and a bit of C- and that final move. they met before he left and they did talk it a bit and ended it well, so there was no hard feelings and definitely no resentment, they couldn't even stay as friends and for what? they had 1 bad fight, then throw in her dairy being kept in a store for 20 years COME ON.. tho again the things said there were the "best case scenario" breakup, it wasn't as if they could never talk to each other again, their bond didn't just disappear..
I'm not sad they weren't happily ever after, though honestly they were the best representation of a realistic couple I've seen. no destiny, no childhood connection, no random "WE MUST BE TOGETHER". they were each others rock, cheerleader, best friend and love. HOW CAN THAT NOT WORK,
the 2ml goes and says "no you can't throw me away I won't let you" and survived his gf moving to another country, being labeled as a traitor, and having no future path beside luckily becoming an influencer, and yerim coming back like the heartache her arc caused only effected yejin, and she was able to get back in and even stay in heedo's life when they went through another rough patch
but heedo and yejin couldn't... honestly were they that shallow.. was it an "experiment" and convenient.. what is love TT_TT
also, they were friends near their 30s, and they never mentioned them in their 40s.. shouldn't yerim and 2ml's kid be friends with heedo's kid.. wouldn't 3fl end up together with yejin's brother and also have kids
was yejin just a chaperone to them, was their friendship that shallow.. 2ml, 3fl, and even yerim who knew yejin since childhood never crossed paths together again? please this was such bad writing after 20s that this should've just been till then with an open ending of "will it work out" instead of forcefully trying to ruin it and think they were being melo, noir and clever "I'm looking at you veronica mars s4"
and yes, I am angry and I'll go back and remind myself, future heedo never happened. the ending scene was 2001s new year with the plan of their 600s anniversary as an open ending of "happily ever after"

Emotionally a 10, rationally an 8
This show's strength is the friendship, tbh in s1 too I complained alot about the plot points being too convenient, cliche, dejavu, idk what to call it but everything had happened before in other tv shows, every scene felt familiarSo this shows strength was the friendship, this season half of it was dragged and wasted on the yoga instructor and her brother. They weren't funny but maybe they were a bases built to show and focus on bow jiyeon doesn't build relationships essily, she can't
make female friends and ofc non of the guys ever wanted to just be friends, Sun Jung was practically withered out until she realized jiyeon has loyalty and isn't as shallow as she seemed
Non of these girls are perfect, they are all flawed, so different and so full of baggage. That's the point here
Sohee is an emotional time bomb eventho she acts "go with the flow" and easy going
Jiyeon hides her deepest emotions eventho she "always says the truth with no filter"
Jigoo doesn't show "vulnerability" and has too much "pride" evetho she looks confident and "have it all figured out"
Jiyeon is the one "women hate" so she doesn't have any other friends beside these two. Sohee and jigoo make friends easily. So jiyeon's "talkative positive behavior" is her choice and excuse so no one including herself thinks "why doesn't she have other friends"
And yes her behavior is not an excuse, it's a toxic cry for help. If her friends had stable relationships they too would forget her so yes she's self sabotaging
love of friendship is deep too, but romantic relationships get higher value. If they get married they'd move out, if they have kids they wouldn't spend time every night, sohee and jigoo can adapt but jiyeon can't
Everyone is messed up that's the beauty of this
Jiyeon didn't tell them when it was her mom's memorial, and she hid at the back, finally not smiling and saying everything ok, she has deep dark emotions too
Sohee screamed and threw a tantrum at her mom because she wasn't over dealing with the grief of her dad
Then she yelled at kang pd cuz she was embarrassed and wanted to test him
Jigoo doesn't feel like she can depend on others or make a move cuz of her student that died, she kept making excuses too ignoring wooju and putting a wall cuz she was afraid to get hurt again
Kang pd too isn't perfect. Usually kdrama past traumas are an excuse for cold ml,
but here his mom died/disappeared, he lacked the healthy relationship mindset
And living so seriously as a kid and getting depression, he decided to approach life nonchalantly to not get hurt
But like what he did in s1 staying by her when she heard about her dad's passing , such a sweetie hidden under all that "patheticness", this season When kang pd pulled the car over but then told her not to get out? He again showed that he has more than his jijiri loser persona
Jiyeon never really cried over her illness or her breakup and she always acts like she's ok when she's not. Sohee always feels the need to be the middle glue that keeps the fire and ice together so her own emotions are put on the backseat
Jigoo always acts like she doesn't need what she can't have because she's afraid she can't reach it. She wants pretty clothes and dresses but doesn't have the finances, she wants to date but shallow men around her did choose the "girly girls" over her
But this show sure wasted time on yoga instructor arc, eventho they wanted a new friend and a enemy to friend, the writing around it lacked, but this show is still so convenient and yet so complicated

the writing is a 0
I thought based on the 1st scene this would be scary but I was disappointed.. it wasn't even gory it was eyeroll worthy..Lee Sung Min is an amazing actor and his scenes with Nam Da Reum were sweet and touching, but that was mainly just based on their acting, the writer/director gave them nothing to work with.. actors need their dialog...
I'm also disappointed at productions labeling anyone a lead. a main lead is someone with a backstory, emotions, thoughts and personality.
the detective was just someone after a killer, he didn't even have common sense. Ae Ran was suddenly revealed to be a ghost they didn't let her show her torment and Cheong Seok though he had the most scenes but again not much personality is labeled as lower in "ranks". when in reality calling Park Jin Soo a main is pushing it.
I wish atleast the characters had more substance!. these days the writers' think "tragic past/connection" is the key for emotinal scenes but it still needs a development for it to work! 10 x 0 is still a 0
for almost an hour and a half no one really talked or even did anything, they just walked, went to eat then walked... and don't get me started on the horror! I can't take horror and I even laughed at a couple of those scenes, creepy eyes and dark clouds are scary.. there was no thrill, no action.. honestly the ending too, they tried to pretend they were "saving" the characters from their torments but it was just another scene..

best of jihyo
not gonna lie, I started this for jihyo and I wasn't disappointed, finally they gave her a chance to break away from her typecasting.but that's all the praise I have, the plot is really basic. they're using shallow "touching" stories to show the desperation of people making those wishes but are they really worth it? ironically though the answer seems yes becasue even if the "price" seems high but in the end it's so easy to forget the pain when you reap the reward
one lost his fingers, one lost her memories, one lost her voice, but no one regretted it.. getting a job has more weight than his fingers, seeing her son happy mattered more than her having her personality/identity.. but the one with the voice tbh she was robbed..
on the other hand the mains' connection and stories were just as flat. the

One might think “they should’ve done better”, there was a lot of miscommunication, unironically being deaf and mute isn’t just about the ability to hear and talkThe world is big, and people are privileged in health, education, love and family
But others aren’t, having something that becomes a burden a drawback, people with “disabilities” can lose their footing in life
Xiaoma felt unseen and unheard, so mumu was his everything especially after his wife left them and found another family
He was flawed because he was never given the same benefits as others
Just like how Xiao Jing felt unseen between her husband and daughter
Starting a family is a huge privilege and responsibility
It was like this in twinkling watermelon too, parents relay too much on their kids, they lose sight of their own behavior and it becomes a burden to those around them
This was really sad and heartwarming
I do have a problem with this tho
idk if the insurance scams happen that widely so that part felt a bit underwhelming with some of the conflicts
The bad guys purposely used “disadvantaged” people so I get them lying to him, tho his friend should've warned him
The friend wanted easy money and he had no guilt but xiaoma had too much to lose and no one to guide him, then he got caught up in the thrill of being able to make money for his kid, he lost sight of the most important thing, she was happy with him no matter what
I kinda assumed he was falsely accused for theft or something before starting this
The little girl was too precious ;( I also liked how they used real deaf people it made the movie feel more real and normal
And ofc my zhang yixing did such a great job, he’s neither a dad or deaf, but he learned sign language and used it even after this movie, and he was such a loving protective dad ;) he was so disheveled and raw and so emotionally expressive ;(
I do think most of the conflict would’ve been avoided if his ex talked to him instead of that aunt, She could’ve easily told him she wasn’t gonna take him to court
but it was also important to show how ppl easily take advantage and fool disadvantaged people
And honestly being poor is also a disadvantage in life, he had no connections to help, he got fooled by everyone and dragged in too deep
If amei didn’t talk, he’d have been falsely accused for life, tho I also think again his friend should’ve also backed her up
I also liked the aesthetics, the blue was like sadness and not belonging while they shined yellow to highlight how they were each others happiness
Idk shouldn’t he also get less time for “good behavior”? Honestly I was scared they’d kill him in prison
So I kinda wish they showed him in the future, it’s sad to think his daughter stayed in Netherlands(?) until she graduated college to come back home, so he didn’t see her for 15 years? I’d also assume he’d always be there when she got off work cuz he’d want to be around her all the time
So I felt that was a shame, both the long separation and not showing him in her future
The wife tbh stayed selfish, going to another country was beneficial for mumu but just like how she selfishly took herself out of mumu’s life, she continued to force mumu to be without her dad ;(

the movie starts in a random small village, they don't have any roads connecting them to the next town or souel and only had a railroad that reached them through a bridgeit then starts showing us the life of a lazy highschooler that starts taking private lessons from the prettiest girl in class, and I thought it'd be an old school type of, school romance like 2521 so it was a bit boring (the movie not 2521)
but then the real twist happens. I was a bit confused mainly cuz of Park Jung Min, the 35 year old failing to look 18, he's a good actor, but to cast him after showing the tiny Kim Kang Hoon, who can easily be his son, made it hard to understand for a minute xD then after noticing the sister that didn't age I thought this was a scam movie.. then after the kid vr was brought back, as flashbacks, I started wondering if they were 2 different people with 2 similar looking sisters
now I do admit I didn't pay much attention in the 1st half for those reasons. it felt messy and cheap
until the twist happened... and they showed the both vrs pictures. with a missing SISTER! and it hit me. she died and that was when the waterfalls started till the last minute of the movie T_T
the events of the past. the acting of Lee Sung Min, the reasons and action of those actors, it was all so devastating..
the 2nd half was honestly pure emotinal gold. it was shocking, yet full of hope, redemption, bonding, understanding and heartwarming sweetness
I thought Tae Yoon was a tough love type of dad, but he was so vulnerable, so fragile, so soft.. again casting the 35 year old one thinks he left his son for years but it was around 10 years, tho again a bit much, but he held on to so much self loath he couldn't look at his son again
the moment he got angry at the paper cuz he didn't want his son to be hurt. the moment he forced him to go to souel, their trip, his pure joy over his results (my favorite scene T_T), Jung Jun Kyung confessing that he went to the beach to stop his dad from suicide, junkyung and Bo Kyung "hugging" their dad T_T, their farewell, and in the end the most hilarious ending that just made this little movie even more preciousT_T

break your box
a simple beautiful message done is a pleasingly sweet musical style. everyone has a box, a worry that traps themalso everyone needs atleast 1 person to stay by their side and trust in them and here we got a sweet journey of friendship, food and music
each step was a lesson that ended in the big finally, Min Soo didn't want jihoon to relay on him 100% though ironically I saw the contract termination as a sign of trust and letting him "go" so he can peruse music as a passion not an obligation xD but jihoon could've seen it as abandonment
chanyeol honestly is such an amazing singer, rock, rap, ballad, trot, jazz, he can do it all! the only problem I had was the 1st idol generation hair xD
and maybe the lack of more in depth friendships, and ultimately "love", though I also appreciated how everything wasn't solved just cuz of that, but hints of love would've been cute

I wish it was a full drama
basically the story was weak, and the writing was worse since they needed 1 extra ep to try and wrap things up but the overallness of it was nice..it had 4 of my favorite things, independent strong fl, sweet somewhat shy ml, sweet friendships and a rock band, but the delivery sucked..
the fl randomly opens a big cafe without hiring anyone and she can't even cook herself, so that's a recipe of dept and bankruptcy, then her brother scams these 4 aspiring artists so the fl gives them a job and they all randomly fit it.
one is a great cook, one is so hot he draws in customers and the other 2 do the coffees and dishes so their cafe becomes huge...
so like the fl from the start just needed to hire people and the fact that she didn't while the guys also randomly got scammed in that cafe was bad writing.
I wish they made it more casual. fl opens restaurant, fl looks for employees, the guys being starving artists apply as part time and boom the rest of the stuff happened.
also they wasted time on the hot guy's problem that they really didn't try hard to work on the romance between the 2 mains, eventough they were too cute.
plus who wants uncertain fame when they can mix their music and cafe and make it a live band cafe..

what I loved the most about this was the friendship and how it was more important than the romance. usually these type of school stories like to pretend the girls have no friends beside the male lead or even if they do the female lead would spend 95% of the drama with him.
so seeing how this was more about the girls' times together and how a shy sweet fl like Sawako Kuronuma needed time to open up to people was beautiful~
Chizuru Yoshida was independent and strong and she didn't let other's opinions and rumors bring her down. but she was also a softie and took time to understand Sawako Kuronuma.
Ayane Yano was quiet and with that she connected and understood Sawako Kuronuma easily, but she was also smart and mature and she was not as emotionally driven as Chizuru Yoshida
Sawako Kuronuma is the only acceptable form of cute, innocent, naive and pure. she was just ADORABLE~
Kazehaya Shouta was cute becasue he always tried to let Sawako Kuronuma stand up for her friends and made sure her friends could see her true self. I loved how he actually went to bring the girls when Sawako Kuronuma was being bullying and he didn't try to be the hero.
Ryu Sanada looked uncaring and cold but he was the type of person who took care of his friends behind the scene, and I wonder if in the anime they explore his character more ;)
Sawako's father was also a cutie~
the romance and what not was basic since it is a highschool genre and they were only like 15, but it was sweet to see both try to understand and open up
I never rewatch stuff but I wonder if there's another remake

Se Ha was jaded and he put alot of walls around him though I could understand that it was hard to see his true heart until the end.
Dong Goo was such a pure precious being, and kwangsoo did such a great job conveying so much without even talking, like Dong Goo's inner thoughts about how Se Ha would be better off without him and the feelings of abandonment and loneliness he had to keep in his heart.
Mi Hyun was also another precious person. she embodied the sweet pure friendship that kinda made the bromance even better. they didn't need to be blood related to become a family TT_TT
Ahn Ji Ho had a small role of young Se Ha but he conveyed so much heartbreaking emotions that solidified the jadedness of old Se Ha so well. I hope he gets more roles soon he has a bright future ahead of him~
the ost was nice especially the end song the 3 main leads sang and I rarely rewatch things
