U can compare both things since they are different but cannot say they should be same to get ur like of how it should be and since u can't take the part u said...I guess it's better for u to not watch so u can no further comment negative things about it... and I atleast thanked u for trying to watch it tho...
If this a one drop ep's drama a lot would definitely not questioned about the politics and pacing but since we need to wait a week to get new episode, it would kinda frustrated after all, what we anticipated more is the revealed identity of BFX and the fight who will rule the world... and soooo, let us be patient if u cant handle the politics you can all wait till it's done...it actually doesnt frustrate me the politics that much since after a trouble is made they solve it easily but im sure getting impatient of the main plot here and soooo...thats my problem. The good advise i can give to those who dont like what's happening rn is to wait for it to be done. But doesnt mean this is not a good drama...it still is for me..

in the novel he participated to marry Hua chunran...well, since she's the only princess who are looking for marriage, ofcourse HFX will not loss this one to have a alliance to them(after all, his relationship with BFX is not yet confirmed to be a lover) and so HCR like HFX and about to choose him but he ran away thinking she is not his lover slash BFX who he loves... and since the drama and novel is different, some might not follow the routine of the novel but thats what happen there.

Find who owned soul taker and their motive, How will lanxi take over his kingdom, Kingdoms make alliances, Xiyun taking over her kingdom. Find out about's dadong emperor schemes and motive. and last the battle between kingdoms, is what im looking for the most. cuz the battle were really intense. I'm still waiting how will they shown all of these with the remaining episode cuz lanxi's taking over his kingdom seems too long but...i think the kingdoms make alliances will happen first or marriages before he will take over, like in the novel.

As it said she was a princess and gonna pick a husband.. in the novel hei feng xi pursue her and bai feng xi help him and her...but when the ceremony's of who will she pick, hfx run away and so she married huang chao... in the novel she like both bfx and hfx, but ofcourse she like hfx in a different way but she have never been annoying in the novel. one of the girls who like the ml but also smart and know her worth. like they said feng xiyun and hua chunran are both smart but one is raised inside a palace while one is a wanderer or in jianghu so FXY has more have a broader mind.
