Idk I kind of liked his charcter, or the irony of his story. His pride was his down fall.

I think you have to dumb down a lot to be able to enjoy most c-dramas
Im very critical with kdramas. I let a lot of things go in cdramas that I wouldn't in a kdrama. But on the other hand cdramas can do better. As you said there's nirvana, now I'm finding gems like Yanxi palace, Ever night was not bad.
