I love Ashes of Love too but god, really? It's a bit over-rated at this point ain't it~ There's other gold too like Ever Night (which in my opinion exceeds Ashes of Love in multiple things) and The Dark Lord (that isn't the same genre as Ashes of Love so I can't compare really). Edit: Or at least include the top 3 right? I mean, most people on kisskh are here to find new dramas, so introduce them to the top 3 dramas of that genre, so they have more options.
Would someone spoil me a bit, mostly about the main character?I know it's weird but I usually spoil myself a bit before starting a series just to see if the lead character's plot and personality will actually interest or will come to interest me.
Ahhhhh, Wu Lei won't be back for season 2. Apparently this got bad reviews in China, so he won't be reprising the male lead if there is a season 2. (how did it get bad reviews in China?)
He needs more rolessssssssssssssssssss (Am I the only one hoping that if Ashes of Love season 2 is about their children, that he'll play the main lead? xD )
lmao, each continuation of the series has a new cast (usually with A-list actors), yet we are supposed to believe they are the same characters throughout all series. Nothing against it, just find it might be a bit ... "distracting". Like you finish The Lost Tomb 2, and you're like "Okay, let's see what happens after the cliffhanger!" *clicks season 3* "Oh wait, who's that?" and then you remember the fact the cast changes.
Personally, it was pretty well done. Not exceptional, but I liked it. And unlike some others, I find that Ma Ke is a really good actor, and he was a right decision for the main lead.
holy crap you found my comment, well reply, to someone else's reply on my comment. (Red Red)here's my source for…
I'm just really surprised someone actually took the time to read that-- And yea, I have set a standard based on the first two episodes, hopefully it's good!
Low budget, but damn they did a pretty good job with what they had to work with. Everything was pretty well done. Only thing that bothers me is the music, but it fits the content.
It seems to adapt most of the plot from the novel (past and present). Loosely adapted though, so don't expect…
Nah, I never expect the movie and show adaptations of books and manhuas to be accurate, which makes em more enjoyable. Also thanks! (you happen to know the release date? xd )
