That’s a bit subjective. They’re both by the same author. Personally for me I love this story more. However, they are both available in donghua if you’d like to compare the two. Although, MDZS donghua is more action where TGCF truly has the feeling of love/romance spun throughout the entire series

I totally agree with you. In a perfect world I’d like to see a happy medium. A kiss or two, a declaration of love or some intimate touching along with the same inventive ways that point to a deeper relationship. I think Word of Honor so far has pulled off a wonderfully surprising way of making Wen Ke Xing’s feelings unambiguous. I don’t know if you watch any donghua but in Heaven Official’s Blessing, HuaLian is real. There’s no doubt after that Valentine’s special, that they’re well on their way to being a couple

They might just cave! I hope so. Studios acquired rights to 60 BL novels last year. While I’d rather for them to be open, I do enjoy the creative and touching ways some of them have been using to leave you with no doubt as to the nature of the affection between two men.

Apart from storyline, can I just say how beautifully this is shot. The direction and camera work are a feast and just make this show that much more a pleasurable watch.
