If I am not mistaken, the name is "Ruan Nan Zhu" in the novel and it changed to "Ruan Lan Zhu" in the series? I kept seeing RNZ written everywhere but I was sure I had heard it as "Lan" in the middle instead. Looking up the Chinese character from the Chinese subs (阮澜烛), I confirmed it's "Lan", but then again my Chinese is not that good. Small detail but I was curious.
I'd be grateful if someone who knows more about this can confirm! I was wondering if the characters have a certain significance too.
Edit: Just noticed the main's name is slightly different too. From to Lin Qiu Shi to Ling Jiu Shi.

I had been thinking of that too. Even if he couldn't share much because the Eye of Darkness is not something that can be easily be proved to exist they could have at least exchanged information so that everyone is aware Yakumo is dangerous.

Oh I see! I actually happened to read a few chapters online too and I noticed the vibe of the story and the characters are a bit different too. I didn't get to see the Demon Eye much so I'll check it once again. Surely they could have made it somewhat stronger in the series. Did you read the chapters in Japanese?

I feel like the Eye of Darkness is a bit overpowered compared to the Demon Eye, it's been bothering me for a bit now. Even so I really like the series though!

Episode 18 was great for me. Most of the scenes were short but they managed to show a lot of stories I wasn't expecting we'd get! Most importantly we learn a bit more about Hajun, although to honest I would like to see his story itself. The line "you're the same" did give some hints but it didn't actually explain anything in detail. It's clear how memories of the past are coming back to him and it was also nice to see him take a step back for once and not approaching Dahee. Also I thought the scene with Hyunjin's parents was really interesting and I am looking forward to the continuation of it. Finally Bohyun was so sweet this episode and I am loving his interactions with Yeeun so much T^T

I was really glad to see Dahee has grown up like that. She managed to talk to her mother honestly without being afraid even though it was really difficult. I am also glad Hyunjin didn't cross the line and did anything else to Hajun for now even though he clearly deserved it.. I've been enjoying the drama a lot, from the amount of episodes left I am sure some backstories and details will remain untold, which is unfortunate, but overall I am satisfied with the drama!

Hajun is starting to show his true colours.. I wonder if he'll do anything in the next episodes
