When they started explain the mystery in the second half, they should have used different filters for the different timelines or something, like other dramas often do. This is where the writer and director needed to shine, but nope... It ended up feeling very messy. Yeah messy is the perfect word to explain the second half of this drama (like others already have pointed out). Too bad. Didn't they even have the same hairstyles in some of the different timelines? lol. So confusing. Still happy its getting the attention it deserves on Netflix because its still overall a good drama!
There aren't really any plot holes if we actually understand the timelines though I do believe they could have…
Thanks for replying! Really there are no plot holes? Thats impressive then, my friend said it was full of things that didn't add up but maybe hes wrong then. I have to analyze myself 😂 But yes I agree the writing could have been more polished.
Hello everyone! Is it only me or did they kind of drop the ball in the second half of this drama? I loved the opening eps or rather the whole first half, but after entering the second half and they started focusing completely on the mystery (and trying to explain it) - it felt messy and confusing. I consider myself pretty smart lol but I found it hard to follow, and as a whole it just wasn't that enjoyable anymore tbh. The charm was lost and I don't think its me who is bad, I think the writer and director kinda fked up and weren't able to pull it off cleanly. Way too convoluted and overly complicated for its own good. Couldn't they have kept it just a bit more simple (and enjoyable)? Also, I don't have the energy to analyze all the timelines now but I swear there are many plot holes and things that dont add up as well... Or again, maybe its only me?
I REALLY enjoyed the first 5 eps or so (binged of course!) and really wanted to love this more but ahh.. such a bummer! At least for me, damn 😠**Jeon Yeo Been was amazing as always.
The original actors are really excited to see it being remade. You make them sad by hating on it.
Wut? The actors in the korean one were much better than the taiwanese, especially the FL. I tried to watch the original but had to drop it because of how cheap it felt and the bad acting, also I personally can't stand the chinese language, it makes my ears bleed. But thats not the main point, however. yayaya blocked
Btw this is so good! Too bad it feels like a hidden gem drama here on MDL but its doing well on Netflix! Congrats to the staff!
