I agree, Ksuz. We are not attacking Jing Chao the actor, he portrayed the villian excellently! But the character MZ, shows warning signs of an abuser that is packaged in a charismatic persona - like some in real life.

I doubt so, MC's character & lack can't outsmart MZ. If so, he would have caught several hints eg. LAR's sudden marriage decision after meeting the Emperor. Just verbalising he can protect her, ain't gonna cut it.

Thank you for posting ep25-26 preview! MC is gonna be so dead, cut ties and now a direct threat to MZ's greed to the throne! I saw some MV snippets of MC being stabbed & LAR crying buckets.. and with the narration of LAR having to accept her fate then history will indeed repeat itself. I hope the scriptwriter will at least end the show with her killing MZ despite all her loved ones dying around her!

Thanks for explaining, I can sleep better tonight. To replay her life to accept her fate is soo torturous - wld be more exciting if the script writer change it...so I guess its likely an equally miserable ending! I second that farmer boy is very dull and wanna reach into my monitor to strangle him several times. And psycho MZ is supposed to be scheming but appear inconsistent. I really hope she will kill MZ, guilt trip MC and migrate!
