I am just in ep 3 and I already hate ML. He is such an ahole. Can someone tell me if it gets better? And why the hell they dont just report him to the uni?
He already had depth from HL, this is his in version of Love story interwined with wei yifan
Well, being rich and successful doesnt rlly tell much about a character. And a character doesnt have to have trauma to have depth. Anyway, that is my opinion , again, I still loved the drama.

I watched HL and loved it, wouldnt say he had much depth in it. But either way FF is supposed to be where we see more of his character, which I feel like all we've seen is him loving her
my opinion about this was to not be prejudiced about anything. His fame, or image he maintained or her life because…
I totally agree, Im so tired of ppl acting as if a trial has already been held. Idk if he's guilty but either way his agency for sure is of no help. I almost wish he was guilty, cause the possibility of this being a complete witch hunt of an innocent person is almost as scary as his presumable crimes.
Well, another "great actor" that will burn in flame. They really like playing with fire. Like, "she was legal…
Omg thank you, the only mature comment here. I dont know the extant of his 'crimes' but I hate to see how K-celebs keep falling into those scandals, like even if he only dated her when she was legal at this point no one will believe him.. and ppl are brutal like they were present in every step in his life..
Before ppl jump at me here - I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM - all I think is there is a juridical system, and the internet is not supposed to be one.
I enjoy this one, I did know GD is so shy haha. I do wish they had not re-edit everything after the scandal, I just find it so noticeable and distracting. and in the end I do want to receive the product as it was meant to be seen before outside noises.
i rlly loved this show. The story was good and the emotions are strong. It was too elongated tho, I think 25 eps would have been enough. Also, I did like the ML but I feel like his whole personality was loving FL, I wish they gave him a bit more depth (that even 2ML and 2FL got). I would still totally recommend it if you haven't watched it yet!
What just because a flower the fl went to ml after him firing her without even telling her and showing her cold…
He fired her like 3 weeks before, he just never told her he took his time updating the company. so when she realized he changed his behavior in a day, she went to confront him.
I think what makes him unrealistic, is how patient he is with her. She is not communicative at all and literally…
I totally agree, but I personally dont have the same standards for dramas as I do for real life so I still enjoy the story and their characters. I think also the fact we get mostly her pov of things makes the viewer (me) more forgiving towarfs her actions.
I have been thinking. It's sort sad SY's character is seen as unrealistic. Is it really that impossible for someone…
I think what makes him unrealistic, is how patient he is with her. She is not communicative at all and literally dissappears twice. So the fact he is not only waiting, but also receiving her with open arms every time is unrealistic and tbh I think its one of those things that look great in a drama but in real life will come across as having no self respect for yourself.
I rlly enjoyed it, tho I cried almost every ep. Didnt rlly get the main couple, I liked the second one better. but Its not the main story so didn't stop me from binging it.
This was so good! It has an original story with great acting and chemistry, and it didn't feel dragged (I wouldn't have minded even 1 more episode). The ending was kind of weird, haha, but still enjoyable. And the ppl connecting it to sth political are so reaching, stop trying to ruin sth good with your political views.
Im enjoying the show but for some reason I can't rlly connect to the parents' story line. Like idc if they end up together or not. Im surprised by Minho's acting, he improved. And I think I mostly like following any story that relates to the daughter.
It started quite interesting and I actually liked the change they made in ML personality after the erasure but now the writing feels just all over the place and repetitive.
The usual kdrama tropes also work if executed well ,(personally for me like Fated to Love You) , but here it worked…
I think we do agree on most things, it's just that while watching this drama those things didn't bother me enough to not enjoy it. But also, it is not only the actors that were great in my opinion, I also enjoyed the cinematography, the music and I do find the premise of the show original. Not many shows follow the couple after they get married and face problems, the awkwardness of being married to someone who feels far away brings out interesting scenes. My point is, it did have many things that could've been better, but in the end, there were so many things that were also super good and I'm not talking only of the amazing cast. As someone who watches ALOT of kdramas I do see this one top the others in many aspects. and it's not only my opinion, just look at its success. I think that diminishing it to just love for the actors, because you didn't like it is not fair to this huge production.
I LOVED QOT, but I do agree that it had many flaws. Even with those flaws, I think it is still one of the best dramas out there. I agree about the writing falling in the second half, it's like they got the pressure of success and couldn't control themselves (Like they had to run over the ML and shoot him all in one ep). But I do think it is clear why their marriage failed, it was the way ML felt that FL didn't protect him from her family, (sth that happens irl too) but what broke them was the abortion. I do wish they addressed that trauma and talked it out, but the second half was dealing with too much already... And we could continue to dissect it more, but the ratings showed their opinion already, so maybe all those annoying usual drama tropes work, so they keep returning to them. (BTW I didn't like CLOY, dropped it around ep 12, was bored)
