Worst ending. If I was a writer I would end this drama as follows -

First of all the casting is good and the actors acted very well. But I hated the ending. After watching the ending, I wanted to slap to that writter who wrote the ending portion. There are three writters, out of them one is female, I am sure the ending were written by her or if it is written by a male he must be g@y. How can you give a cheater Soo Yeon(FL) a happy ending and make Hyun Woo(ML) look like a loser simp.
If u have watched the drama u will know, The wife(Soo Yeon) always tells lie to her husband(Hyun Woo) that she will be late from work and later goes to sleep wt her lover despite having a loving husband(HW) and a child who is just in Kindergarten. But one day the Hyun Woo caught her cheating wife Soo Yeon red handed in hotel and yet Soo Yeon shows no regret or remorse. She stays totally silent just saying sorry. No tears of sadness nothing. After Hyun Woo got angry and went out of the hotel room Soo Yeon didn't even chased Hyun Woo(like most of the cheater does when they get caught), but she just stayed quiet sitting along wt her cheating lover wt no regret and no tears of remorse. After this mess Soo Yeon and Hyundai Woo again met at their home where they had a talk and she says "I stop meeting him for now" then Hyun Woo replied "So later u will meet him again?", where it also shows Soo Yeon who got caught has no guilt feeling. If her lover didn't dumped her, she might even run away wt her lover leaving her husband and son behind. Later at home Hyun Woo in anger asked Soo Yeon saying "When did it started?" , she then again stays quite and try to sneak away telling her husband "let's talk later when u calm down" and Hyun Woo asked her again "When did it started?", finally she said "6 months ago". Hyun Woo then again asked Soo Yeon "Did u sleep wt him?" with no regret, guilt or sadness, she lashed out at her husband Hyun Woo face saying "Yes we slept, because I missed him, I kept missing him so I asked to meet him first" and she went out. When she said that, the body language of FL was as if she is the one victim here. If the husband didn't catch his wife red handed that day she might have keep continuing and deceiving her husband as she herself claim about this between the end of the show after showing regret. In the whole episodes, the directors/writter trying to show us the innocent husband(Hyun Woo) is the one who cheated and his wife(Soo Yeon) as victim. The way they acted it shows as it is. And yet she got a happy ending what bullshi!ttt.
So, If I was a writer I would like to make some changes in this drama to make the drama more exciting. Written as follows 👇👇
In one scene I would add the Hyun Woo taking his child to his workplace where his son(Joon Soo) mistakenly sees him getting work pressure and also get belittle by his boss, but still he remains strong. As the drama already shows the wife(Soo Yeon) is cheating, so whenever Soo Yeon tells lie about working late night to have an affair, I would add my own scene where the husband(Hyun Woo) tries to talk to Soo Yeon when he feels down and also talk about her workholic day then again when Soo Yeon says about working late, Hyun Woo wouldn't continue the talk realising Soo Yeon might also have so much work pressure(but little did he know that Soo Yeon is lying to meet her lover).
I would also like to make changes in some scene..... where Soo Yeon says Hyun Woo in his face about sleeping and missing her lover when asked by Hyun Woo. The next day, I will add a scene making them divorced with some talks and Hyun Woo getting child custody since Soo Yeon is the one who cheated. While discussing child custody I would make Hyun Woo say to Soo Yeon that "I can't handover Joon Soo(their son) to you or else you might again forget the existence of our son like u did it earlier). Then after the divorce Soo Yeon leaves home but even after divorce Soo Yeon would also take care of her son like picking from kindergarten and leaving her son to Hyun Woo house and also take around to her son like park, zoo etc etc.
I would also add some scene where Soo Yeon resign or get fired from her company after rumours get spread within her company about cheating her husband(Hyun Woo) despite having a child. Then everyone belittle her and she faces some karma for her wrong doings. And ofcourse she get dumped by her lover too.
After 7 years of divorce I would paired Hyun Woo with the lovely divorced women(SO EUN) he met at last who is also his new neighbour and likes to play the claw machine like him. By the time his son(JOON SOO) would also grow and understand Hyun Woo's decision. But I would remove the the part where the divorced woman(So Eun) has a child. Later I would add scene where Hyun Woo getting remarried with So Eun and Joon Soo who also loves his step-mom spending time with her in those 7 years but wouldn't call her MOM yet coz it ofc takes time. Then the step-mom also cares Joon Soo as her own child, just a lovely family. But Joon Soo would still meet his real mom(Soo Yeon) since growing up. And adding more after 3 years i.e. after 10 years since divorced with Soo Yeon. Then I would add my own scene where Joon Soo is actively into some social media staff like online group chatting. So when his dad(Hyun Woo) goes to work and his step-mom(So Eun) goes out for groceries then he would be alone at home. So when he was having fun in online group chatting on his phone his battery died and he can't find his charger so he saw his dad's laptop and try to login but he couldn't, coz it has a Password. He kept trying and it shows wrong PW, finally at last attempt Joon Soo would write his own combination name and then get login( some parents keep their son name as PW). Then Joon Soo would browse the internet and go straight to online group chatting site, it's the same chatting site where his dad Hyun Woo chats in his past when he was cheated by Soo Yeon. While writing e-mail as login username he find the recommendation of his dad email and as curiosity he login and apply the same PW as he did while logging into the laptop and appears the TOYCRANE username. As curiosity he read the whole chat of his dad username and find out about his mom(Soo Yeon) affair and also recognise his mom username where she claim about "forgetting her son and husband after meeting her lover" and also asking her husband(TOYCRANE) in the chat saying "Would you accept your wife who already slept wt someone?". Joon Soo then read all the chat and feel sad for his dad(Hyun Woo). After reading all the chat Joon Soo then goes straight to his mom(Soo Yeon). Crying angrily, he asked his mom "Did u really cheat dad?" then Soo Yeon would be in shock after hearing and asked him "Where did u hear this, did your dad said that to you?" then Joon Soo replies "No I login my dad's laptop and out of fun I read dad's old chats and saw about dad and you in online group chat". Then Soo Yeon in tears just stays quiet with no answers. When Soo Yeon tries to touch Joon Soo in guilt and tears, he resist his mom( the body language that shows he is not letting touch his mom as if she is dirty women[characterless]). Joon Soo then says his mom(Soo Yeon), I thought the divorced happen bcoz of mutual understanding but I didn't know it was bcoz of you and I feel sorry for my dad(Hyun Woo) now. Later Joon Soo rush back to home from his mom house and hug his dad in tears saying "DAD you must be in pain through all this years" and Hyun Woo with no clue ask Joon Soo "What happen son did anything happen today?" then Joon Soo replies "I read ur old past online group chats when I login ur laptop" . Hyun Woo would then realise the reason why he is sad. Later Hyun Woo take his son Joon Soo outside and they both seat together.
And Soo Yeon in tears who chased his son Joon Soo after he ran crying, sees her now ex-husband Hyun Woo but then decide not to border and hide nearby them.
Then Hyun Woo continue saying to his son..
HYUN WOO(in calm) - How did u know my PW?
JOON SOO - I just predicted my own name.
There would be a min of silent between them then his son Joon Soo continue saying
JOON SOO - Didn't u hate mom for betraying u that time?
HYUN WOO - Since u are already grown up, I will tell u and hope u can understand it ...... Yes, for a while I hated ur mom for betraying me but later I had to let go those bad memories to keep living.
JOON SOO - Didn't u ask mom why she did that?
HYUN WOO - Yes I asked her..... and your mom said she had work pressure, less time for herself that she forgot what happiness is. Also she would always be busy taking care of you when u were a kid. She also had hard time. So don't hate ur mom.

I hope she is doing well etc. So I never thought of betraying your mom bcoz I loved her so much that I wouldn't dare to think about that.
SOO YEON who chased her son and hiding nearby them heard all their conversations and cries silently in regret for betraying her husband Hyun Woo.
HYUN WOO continues saying - Your mom and I had love marriage and then later you are born. Your mom has struggle so much while raising you. Your mom wouldn't leave u alone everytime. At the same time she also works while raising u. I couldn't ask ur mom how she was doing, how work is going on. I can't fully blame ur mom either bcoz I was also at fault not to care of ur mom. May be we fell apart that time. Sometime I wanted to discuss about her day in office with your mom but when she says she has to work late then realise I would make ur mom more worry.
NOTE : Here Working late indicates the excuse Soo Yeon make to spend time and sleep wt her love.
JOON SOO - Then didn't u feel sad while getting divorced dad?
HYUN WOO - Yes I was sad, I lock myself and cried bcoz even at that time I loved ur mom so much. People usually says Men's don't cry but we also have feelings. So whenever u are sad don't hold ur tears just let it out and it gets less burden.
Then JOON SOO would hug his dad in tears and says - I didn't know u were in so much pain appa(dad). I kept blaming both of u for divorcing without knowing the reason.
HYUN WOO(in smile) - It's okay son. You are already grownup now and knows how to choose ur own path. So if you ever loved someone in future do not betray her. Your appa might not be an inspiration to u but when it comes to love your appa has something you should follow.

HYUN WOO continues - You shouldn't hate your mom too, she has so much struggle while raising you. If you have said something mean to your mom, go and apologize her. She also has seperate life now. JOON SOO and HYUN WOO also returns to their home then later Joon Soo in tears would hug his step-mom SO EUN calling her "MOM" for the first time who always care him like her own son. Without knowing the situation, his step-mom SO EUN would hug him back in joy.
The next day Job Soo would go to see his mom Soo Yeon and had a short talk where Joon Soo says...
JOON SOO(in low and hesitation voice) - I heard from dad why u both divorced.
SOO YEON sat quiet with no answers and eyes filled with tears
JOON SOO then continues - Omma(Mom), do u know when I was a kid I hate when u both are not around at home to spend time wt me. We barely get together.

At the same day Soo Yeon who is a NUN now came to give his son Joon Soo, a birthday gift. But when she saw her husband, son, his 2nd wife So Eun and a new born baby returning from Park, she then shows a bit of regret and jealousy of realisation looking at their happiness on how she would have been in place of So Eun if she didn't had affair. She then just leave the gift she brought nearby the door and left not bordering them. And the drama would end. Giving loyal husband Hyun Woo a Happy ending and cheater wife Soo Yeon, a lesson for betraying.
The turning point where Joon Soo hates his mom Soo Yeon was when he read the line where his mom claim in group chat that "she forgot the existence of her husband and child when she met her lover".
So this is how I would write the drama if I was a writer.
But in actual the writers gave cheater female lead a happy ending. What a crap.
It's been 4 days and whenever I remember about this drama my heart still ache for Hyun Woo. Because in the whole drama, the words utter from Soo Yeon is all about herself and defending her lover. She never sincerely apologise or felt guilty for cheating her husband Hyun Woo. All she said was Sorry with no tears of sadness. No explaination nothing. She never gave efforts or pushed to heal their relationship. Her expression shows she never love or thought about her child Joon Soo too. It shows like all she did for her child was out of responsibility.

The turning point where Joon Soo hates his mom Soo Yeon was when he read the line where his mom claim in group chat that "she forgot the existence of her husband and child when she met her lover".
So this is how I would write the drama if I was a writer.
But in actual the writers gave cheater female lead a happy ending. What a crap.
It's been 4 days and whenever I remember about this drama my heart still ache for Hyun Woo. Because in the whole drama, the words utter from Soo Yeon is all about herself and defending her lover. She never sincerely apologise or felt guilty for cheating her husband Hyun Woo. All she said was Sorry with no tears of sadness. No explaination nothing. She never gave efforts or pushed to heal their relationship. Her expression shows she never love or thought about her child Joon Soo too. It shows like all she did for her child was out of responsibility.
So whenever I remember about this drama my heart ache coz the cheater wife got happy ending with no efforts. I wanted the ending like Soo Yeon getting exposed in her office workplace and getting taunt for cheating her husband by all employees then she get fire or resign. Then she face more Karma. Hyun Woo getting remarried the last divorced women(So Eun) who is also an exact copy of himself. And live happily wt his son Joon Soo.
