The movie was so good! I felt like I was watching Your Lie in April again. Most of the plot points in the story were the same. The main differences were that the boy has loving faimly, and he doesn't have long to live as well.

I think there is a decent chance it will become a mini series. It seems that those who watch the movie aren't only J drama fans, but people from all type of tastes. The obvious reason it being a fairy tale movie. But there is also an official English dub (and other languages as well) so that's helps. To proven the point; It is number 8 on my country's daily top 10 movies. I never seen even a single Japanese movie that entered this list outside of anime (which those are rare as well).

That twist turned the movie for me from being 8.5/10 to 10/10. It just was crazy and funny.

There is no moral in the story. That's the point. Cinderella being the killer is just a crazy twist, that will make some of us laugh because how twisted it is (I'm one of the few that had a blast with the twist)

They are not the same person at all. They are even on the same room once in the movie (Rime is the one who gives an alibi for the prince). And they don't look similar, at least the way I see that.

It just was a great twist (IMO) on Cinderella's story. Furthering the point with the glass slipper plot point from the fairy tale, but instead it is going for Cinderella, it instead proves she's the killer.

Yeah. The English title is brilliant honestly. As for the Japanese name, it is based on Japanese novel. They sometimes have stupidly long titles (Mainly in Light Novels), so I don't expect much from their naming sense.

I laughed so far when it was revealed that Cinderella was the killer. And then the prince didn't even care about her from the beginning. I really enjoyed the movie. Hashimoto Kanna rocks as usual.

Just finished it. It was well done show. They nailed the support characters; Of course Mihawk, Garp, Koby, Kuro, Buggy, Zeff, and somehow even Halempo.

He also voices a character (with design based on himself) in Yakuza Like a Dragon that just got released in the west.

WTF. Currectly I'm watching Gunshi Kanbei and see him as his role of Araki Murashige, but I didn't know he also roled in Bitter Blood. I totally didn't reconize him. So that's how Long- Half Bald hair, beard and armor can make you look that different.

Just watched the first episode and it felt like Pheonix Wright. And that's of course, a good thing.

The ending is not a sad ending as a whole. They just start over again after he forgot her. It was good mix between sad and happy.

I actually liked the ending. Yeah, I see your point, but I liked that despite they beat Sawatari himself, The Sakura Fubuki is still there. Pretty sad ending, but more realstic one.
