Although Ye Yin was crowned, there are 3 very clear champions - Ye Yin, Yang Kai & Bouboo. May they continue to bring glory and be the inspiration to the world of street dancing. What is ironic is that Yibo as a captain and street dance enthusiast, was not cheering aggressively (compare his energy in previous episodes battles) at the final battle stage as 3 of the finalist were from his own team. It became less exciting than the usual battle, guess that’s how it is expected to end since all the strong contender were from Team Boom. The other 3 captains seem to be waiting for time to pass and for everything to end.
After the emotional farewell drama in ep11, Acky-san is now back to the finals after winning the battle from today’s repechage. It wasn’t the last show of him afterall. Hahaha
Time really flies, we’re heading to the end game once again. I still remember episode 1 where captains select their team members and the ice breaking among team members as though it just happened last week. Bouboo really fought so well despite an injury and it was such an emotional yet touching farewell especially to Acky-san, I almost cried when Zhang YiXing dance & hug Acky-san, what a beautiful sight. Looking forward to the final battle and captains big show next week. Hope there will also be special performance by previous years captains. In a recent interview with the producer, apparently there will be a return of previous captains from the 4 seasons for Season 5. Im hoping for YiBo/ YiXing/ Jackson Wang / Jackson Yee/ Show Luo at least... anyone of them... fingers crossed. And hopefully a more interesting Hotpot session like in season 3.

Even Yibo said he felt sorry to Xiao Ji for not giving him more opportunity in last season given that Xiao Ji has the the creativity, and now Han Geng chosed to let him go first. He kept using Ibuki when it comes to battle but Xiao Ji the bboy is capable of individual battle yet not given much opportunity. AC has the power but his variety is limited to the few waacking routine.
Also, Yibo is so strict as a captain. He always points out what's lacking in the performance of his members before…
Like what Yang Kai said, Yibo has very high expectation. And Yibo gets into the ground to fine tune them during practice. When he told HB to relax at backstage, he added to say “but we must win”. I guess that spirit gets into the team members to fight well.

The captain mentioned elimination decision is for future challenges. In my opinion, Jr Taco can do popping. Team Boom has lost Nelson and there’s no more popping battler. The other remaining team members can cover Liang Liang’s strength. But it’s a matter of the next rounds that the weaker ones will get eliminated, only few more episodes left before the final.

Yibo’s team did took victory this round. Not sure which part you meant by ‘always dominate’ and ‘unfair’ but they didn’t win in the previous battles and he admitted that his team lacked choreographer. He even had morale session with the team in last episode to address their weakness when the other teams were happily settled and feasting. Their victory this round is a result of everyone’s effort to prepare for the battle. Yibo and Yixing strategised well and the captains themselves went into the battle ground together with the team, they were so hardcore, they both deserve the points.
Having 5 judges is definitely better than 3! The results are fairer compared to the first battle with only 3 judges. Lit Dragon and Team Boom deserve the win, it is clear seeing how involved the winning captains are. Lay and Yibo raised the bar high for this program and these 2 are the most team-spirited captain in SDC4!
Felt so bad for YiXing. Lit Dragon's performance was creative, artistic and thematic at the same time. I personally likes Lit Dragon's showcase. Yibo need to form a team with members of different strengths and with full team spirit. Too many A-listers and a perfectionist captain doesn't make a good team. Yang Kai and Chun Lin would work better in team Yibo Wangzha. Henry & Han Geng - well balanced in resources and teamwork thus a great performance from both of them.

My sentiments exactly. The SDC3's captains chemistry is over the top. At this time of airing last season was water stage, we were already seeing all 4 of them having super great friendship. I really miss the ManBoys! This time, I see Yibo looked bored playing with socks, microphone, chairs, bicycle, belt chains, rocking chair.. and less talking as compared to last season, he had no time to feel bored he even got so excited till he threw his judges chair off. The hotpot session this time is so boring, I almost fell asleep.
Loved Lay's manners throughout the episode - 1. He helped to fulfil the wish of the eliminated krump dancer for a last battle together upon Han Geng's request. 2. He accompanied, escorted and walk with the krump dancer to thank the other captains for the last time eventhough he was not the one who eliminated that dancer. 3. He was well prepared with a list of feedback points during the captain feedback session. 4. He held the ladder for Han Geng when Han Geng was spying over Henry and told him to be careful while climbing. 5. He was the one only captain that took down a lot of notes as seen from the number of times he was holding the clipboards 6. Wasted no time, using any free slots to practice dance moves. The passion is real for both Lay and Yibo.

Haha that's why Lay said when it comes to this part of the program, he will have headache. Thankfully, luck is on his side this time, he had a smooth selection process.

True! and What Captain Yibo want Captain Yibo get. He got the 4 dancers he like.
No one chooses Bouboo, Ye Ying and Liang Liang. He cleared this part. And with Nelson, he doesn’t do the ‘sales talk’ thing but go straight to the point. In previous episodes and short add-on clips, Yibo has been spending time bonding with the French team and he even consulted Nelson on how to pop well before his Captain cypher where he eventually won 1st place with Nelson’s advice. The small interactions has build them a good bonding. It’s just right that Nelson chooses Yibo.
