Just finished last night and I can’t move on. Been watching clips all day.
I wish I can tell you it’ll get better and you’ll be able to move on but as you can see, some of us who watched it as it aired are still here…and it’s been a month! I’m rewatching it and listening to the OST, which I think is amazing and one of the best.
umm is this drama really that good? I'm not a fan of historical or xianxia genre. I last saw Dylan Wang in MG,…
Dylan redeemed himself in this drama, which was such a success he’s received so many endorsements recently. That alone speaks volumes about this drama. In addition, it’s ranked #8 on MDL’s top 100 Chinese dramas beating many other popular favorites. Check it out to see if you like it. Most people are hooked by episode 8 or 9. It only gets better.
watch eternal love of dream and the new drama love between fairy and devil :)They will melt your heart lol
Same here. I love TMOPB but didn’t care for Bai Feng Jui or Emporer Dong at all. I tried watching ELOD but had to drop it around episode 10. The cutesy fox act wasn’t for me. I really tried but gave up.
i was getting annoyed at our FL being super stubborn at times and my hack in calming myself down when i'm annoyed…
Haha I should have read your post before I started watching. It would have helped calm my nerves down. It took me a while to warm up to her…took me until part 2, tbh 😵💫
I’m on episode 20…still a bit boring 🥱🥱🥱The only part I get excited is ML’s scenes.
There were a few good moments but part 1 was still a snoozer. I’m shocked at the high rating. Part 2 is definitely better but still some draggy scenes and slow plot.
Yikes..episode 16? I’m trying to get through episode 2 and wondering whether to keep watching with hope it’ll get better or drop it. I think I’ll drop it and find something better to watch.
whenever there those stupid moments, i am trying to remind myself, in the context of this story, the character…
I agree..I don’t think her illogical thinking is that bad here and it didn’t really bother me much…by comparison, I’ve seen much much worst in other dramas where I want to throw daggers at them (the tv) for the stupid idiot moves they make haha
I think she was also very homesick. All her life, the only home she knew of was Arbiter Hall. She had never been…
She definitely wasn’t thinking and not in the right state of mind. Her life had gone easily and smoothly before she met DFQC and now things have turned upside down.
Perhaps she was only thinking of the comfort and familiarity of home and not thinking she is now considered a traitor and would be killed if she was to return. She’s naive to think things can return to normal if she just explained. 🤷🏻♀️ Again lol which went horribly wrong The first time
So in episode he makes her a replica of the Arbiter hall which is really sweet. Don't misunderstand my next sentence…
I think she was also very homesick. All her life, the only home she knew of was Arbiter Hall. She had never been anywhere else. She was quite sheltered and cared for only by her master who has been gone for 1,000 years and her only friends are the plants in the greenhouse.
I am enjoying Thousand years for you, but that one seems like a hit or miss for most people.
I’m on episode 2 or 3 and put it on hold for now. Does it get better? At this time, I don’t really get the comedy..I feel like FL and her sect are over acting whereas ML is too bland at this time.
The romance is VERY slow burn. There were times that I got so frustrated with the FL lol. Tbh, it took me a long time to warm up to the character. Also, if you think the ladies were bad in part 1, they are even nastier and more catty in part 2. I didn’t think it was possible! 😅 However, I love Leo and he nails everything role he plays…such a talented and versatile young actor. I like Lusi too but not so much the character she played. Overall, a good watch but I would have rated it higher if not for the draggy plot.
Usually I watch a drama and then move on. Rarely do I linger over one but I just keep coming back to rewatch certain…
This is definitely the dark horse drama of the summer and even possibly year. There wasn’t much promotion at all and not many people heard of it. In addition, it aired during the same time as other big production dramas like LLTG and IS, which many people are were anticipating.
It’s amazing how it’s trending and so many people love it. It ranks #8 on MDL for top Chinese dramas. That’s so awesome!

Try:
Eternal Love
Love and Redemption
Ashes of Love
I’m surprised i powered through and didn’t put it on hold.
She said it would be nice to marry Luo Yao because he was like her playmate. 🤣🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
Part 2 is definitely better but still some draggy scenes and slow plot.
Deciding if I force myself to keep watching and hope it gets better or just drop it.
