Didn’t expect to cry again since ik the story, but cried once again. It was cold and lonely for ml to sit on that throne. Everyone left his side one by one after he took that seat. From his own mother whom he longed love and warmth from, to his brothers who he once shared sweet moments with, his martial art teacher, ji mong, and in the end he lost haesoo as well. Let’s not forget the daughter he could have had if he hadn’t let haesoo go that day. To be a king, you will never feel the happiness you once felt again til the day you die. Even the late kings had nightmares. You gain something you lose something.

Eunjae also has a happy ending with her senior they still tgt but not in s2 because that is also a plot. Jiwon is still single and her guy friend from the club seem to start liking her but she doesn’t notice! Kang yina had character development when it comes to men she stopped dating those rich men and I don’t think she’s interested in her friend either. Lastly ye eun had a traumatic event because of her boyfriend so she single but that is her happy ending cause it was toxic although the event will cause her trouble in s2. They did hanui dirty I felt so bad for her. Her secret can’t be compared to anyone of the others. When it was time for revealing she cried cause she didn’t want to reveal it at all. And the guy she wanted didn’t go for her, he’s a major red flag, so she’s better off without him, if u want just skip to last ep, but it’s quite fun watching it thou
I really hope the girl gets punished adequately to what she done to samdal. So shameless of her to step foot into the village! Wished she had gotten slapped with rotten kimchi too! Lol
