Yes I feel like his character there wasn’t a love puppy. Like he was falling in love but he was still cold and business minded. Now I didn’t like under the power but loved my girl in The Eight. if you haven’t seen it she’s so adorable as The Poison Queen. it’s like martial arts and wuxia. She also stars alongside OHO. I also loved her in Sword and Barcode. She has good chemistry with Wallace. This drama just didn’t capture me.

I watched it and also agree. They have a right to not like it and they didn’t bash the actors. Everyone has different opinions so maybe you should take your own advice. if you love it then watch it.

I gotta say this is the reason why I dropped it. the drama is Seven tan usual dramas in modern. She’s better suited for period dramas. Xu Kai was good in BCE spite it not having much screen time and romance but at least the FL character was more matured spite being a loyal daughter. I had to dropped this drama as well. Love both leads but can’t stomach this anymore. Happy for those who love it but I’ll wait for their next projects. Also kudos to you for being respectful and not rude like most here are because you don’t like the drama.

I don’t have a link but she definitely has a Weibo. She posted on the achievements of the drama. Was also tagged in some fans posts.

I just recently followed it. Who knows I’m just following it and looking at everything from other fans point of view. It’s trending with how come LYF2 didn’t do well as ABAY and other dramas. Then fans are taking novel pages and script changes and putting them together. Anyhoo all I’m saying is she had the finale say. Even if she’s not credited as director it was known she was hands on and directing the drama. She’s known for always loving her male characters more anyways and even stated XL is her favorite cjaracter. So this is why fans are mad. One Weibo poster said “Women’s rights are gone and is like back to washing and cleaning.” The fans are upset. As they should be the writer/ directors / Tonghua they ruined the second half of this drama for fans.

If you have an actual Weibo page. You can follow her and see her hands on with everything. This was also announced last year that she would be co directing and being the writer. Fans are saying because she added all these changes the second half of this drama felt flat. There’s paragraphs of many novel scenes cut out that are important to Yaojing YaoLiu and even Xiaoyao and XiaoCaun. She ruined her own work for female fans who just couldn’t handle the heat the male characters were getting.

Actually you can blame her she’s the one with the final say and she’s the one who made changes. she’s not just the writer she’s also credited as a director.

Ask the author but this is her decision on changing this. like I stated fans on Weibo are mad. But many are fan girls who don’t want their fav to be trashed. As a writer if you’re going to change a character half way through a season while not sticking to your source material. Then you don’t get to call yourself a writer. hench why I’m mad and everyone else I’m talking to on Weibo is mad.

Thanks didn’t see that one on Weibo. Well if they’re giving us express then I only need to see 19-23 so basically 5 episodes. Then my mind can rest.

TBH she did lose him but I remember the author saying the title was because of CX. Even though he’s one of my favs. This white washing the character at the half end game is annoying.

Saw on Weibo that are making Xingue be the mastermind behind Jung’s death. This is literally pissing me off because the title is called Lost you forever because in the novel CX lost her forever. Tonghua allowing so many changes to her own novel to please fans of the males is ridiculous. I don’t blame people for being upset. I’m still interested in the drama as episode 18 hit a all time high record for the drama. Mayoan has named it number one today. Just can’t wait till it ends this week.

It’s only episode 18. actually we get one episode this whole week I have the official calendar from Weibo. Mon is 18, Tues is 19, Wed is 20, Thur 21, Friday 22, Sat 23.

It’s still enjoyable. It’s actually rating higher in China. Which is where to be honest it counts. I still enjoy it though. 😊

Yeah he just wants her to be happy. perhaps we will see the two leads in a drama together someday. I hope so 😭
