I think the events are done early in this. Coz wsg and JL remembers the past. Even if we have doubts about jl but wsg certainly remembers everything. So he will go to shilin sect sooner and they can kill jiuying early. They can actually bypass lot of things. 🤔 Once wsg kills jiuying it's the end, right?

No. With ywh, the plan was to transfer his soul. Coz once he eats that dragon scale, ywh will be already dead. Then chi wen can transfer his soul into it.
But jiling ate it and then he was alive and blindness gone. So he didn't want to soul transfer. Later chi wen found out it's best coz their original plan wouldn't have worked as they thought. Jiuying can possess his dragon body once his soul leaves it. So they changed the whole plan and implemented this fake dragon deity and 10th dragon. Which would've worked easily if jiuying didn't interfere in it.

No. Chiwen said that soul transfer plan wouldn't have worked. Chiwen body will be possessed once his soul leaves the dragon. So it doesn't work. And that's why they had to change the plan. By creating the 10th dragon and making jiling the fake dragon deity.
