Well I watched two of his dramas and I can happily say even if I don't tick the boxes in your checklist I like his dramas enough to watch them. For story even if it is fragmented and filled with loopholes, characters which makes you question their motives and understand them while doing it, aesthetics. He knows what he is doing as a director. But by coining him in your delusional 'xiao si's dramas aren't for you if you aren't this or that' you are not only insulting his intelligence but his credibility as a director. You should be ashamed of calling yourself a fan while bringing all the negativity for him.
