I read somewhere if great demon and baize goddess were to be a couple. Then was yuanzhou and wenxiao's master a couple. If not then why wasn't there some one for her. Then we have another baize goddess in plague demon era. She too has no partner. So it's confusing when you say it is a necessity. It also takes away the true feelings. You feel it is not real it only works coz of that magic. They didn't choose it themselves. It makes love story weak when you don't provide some solid scenes filled with emotions and feelings later on. They failed to do that with this love story. When you don't have a strong love base, you have to atleast makeup for it with character growth. But as I said her growth stopped when her feelings developed. She was like a shadow to great demon. Everything circled back to yuanzhou. But then you see yuanzhou isn't like that. He isn't exactly there only for wenxiao. He has his problems, his decisions depends on his own self. Then support from other characters which contribute to his growth. And viewers know what he is thinking, what he will do, why. But we couldn't see all those aspects in wenxiao story at all. I didn't exactly focus on the shoe more..maybe one day when I rewatch fully, I willunderstand what exactly was going on. Till then I can only guess whys and how's. One of these days I will definitely watch it.
Idk what happened. We even saw ao yin having a full arc, even qing heng, the lover of plague one, she was brought back and given arc. So I don't know why only the baize goddess character was like that. Either they didn't understand how to show love story between such great people. That was like a lore. Great demon and baize goddess. But he couldn't develop that part. That was one big hole in the story. They just said they have to a couple but no explanations further about why? And how.. okay if they are a couple what else will come with that. If they were just guest characters like chenglei and gul then you can say fine but when the same thing is repeated for main couple questions has to be answered. The lore should be developed fully. It has become another full story. If you can't justify that your whole thing falls. This is what happened. Yuanzhou has support from lilun and yichen's character he wasn't exactly restricted with baize ling thing. But fir dudu that was the only thing. No support from other characters. They can't show yichen and her as shown in previous episodes coz that train has passed. Every other character had some support and they pulled it till the end but only goddess character had none. That's why it remained weak. Not coz she was weak. I think if she was to travel to wilderness and be with moutain gods and know more abt the things there her character would've developed more. But she was only left with yuanzhou. Only for him. That killed it. So my question still is.. what exactly has they planned for baize goddess which couldn't come to fruitation. Or was it an execution error.
Yes. Her character could've been made into more. I think her growth was stunted as soon as she developed feelings for great demon. She even forgot she was a goddess, like independent entity. You arent always needed to be with him, as if you are his caretaker. That's where the problem lies. Expected something more to do with the baize goddess thing. There were scenes here and there but they didn't help in making her character whole. Maybe coz so much was going on in last episodes, the goddess was pushed into backseat.
😂😂maybe coz of those ambiguous looks and dialogues. They definitely didn't support if it was only meant to be for friendship. But yeah I think if he wanted such relationship between the two he won't be afraid to show it. So we can't say he wanted it to happen like that. The story was filled with loopholes. He tried to include so many things. And the chemistry between the boys was off charts. So everyone stared screaming these things. That's why i really hate when dramas have to cut alot of scenes. It ruins the story, the flow and everything else.
I don't think he is afraid of developing FL characters. Coz we've seen MJTY. And I liked every girl in there. I think the story of fof was different in the start. They didn't change but tried to include everything that's where the mess happened. He didn't know how to show FL. All the focus went into developing ml's relationship. Even the dialogues. Something happened. We don't know what the story was or even now. Coz they edited lot of things. No way we can know if dudu had some potential scenes in there or not. I guess we will never know the answer. Even in promotions it was obvious FL and ML were main. But why was the story like that.
