That part is a little confusing but it looks like the details of the new leadership haven't been made public yet. So most of the staff don't actually know that the chairman has died. They just know that his son is the new chairman. If Huai En didn't hear it directly from Wen Hsen he probably wouldn't know either. Even he was reluctant to say. So Johnny doesn't know. Remember this was literally the day after his father died.

Well I'm enjoying it so far. I'd definitely recommend giving it a watch if you're even a little interested. Unlike others I like the acting and the chemistry between the mains. The two storylines are pretty straight forward but feelings get complicated. There are secrets and misunderstandings so if that kind of thing bothers you you might want to skip. The rating is justified.
