Technically it's Ai who insists on doing everything for Nhai. Nhai used to complain for example the clothes pressing scene but now he's given up and is just enjoying the benefits. And last episode he has a legit injury and Ai had to insist on treating Nhai because he was being stubborn.

Not just this year, this has been a stupid BL trope for some time now... They should really put it to rest.
So true. It's a staple along with tripping and falling into his arms and tending to his wounds - all of which we've seen so far in this series. But I don't mind it as long as it's done well.

Jida literally killed me in this show. That scene where her and friends are teasing Nhai. I couldn't stop laughing!!
I love how she's a good sport about losing out to Nhai.
