I only made it through the Writing section of this article where everything the author whined about was clearly answered in the script: city v. country dissonance? Absolutely not, the contrasts and interactions between Hae In's and Hyun Woo's families are are witty, revealing, and loving; the divorce? There's a scene where Hae In shows Hyun Woo the signed document, and another where she agrees to file it. How did this author manage to be confused?; the illness? It's ramifications, real and potential, make up the bulk of the 16 episodes so I'd say it was fully dealt with and who cares of it's a real illness?; Why Hae In's family didn't accompany her? Also explained as engineered by Yoon Eun-seong to isolate Hae In after her surgery. Why did Hyun Woo stay with Hae In? Since this was the dominant theme of two-thirds of the episodes, his reasons, which evolved over the course of the drama, were explicit and crystal clear.
I understand that opinions may vary, especially on such a high profile show, but there's no excuse for this many factual errors. With so many unforced errors in just the first section, I found no point in reading further. Only someone who slept through the episodes could claim to be confused on these points. This article is superficial, lazy, factually incorrect, and baffling in it's unsupported conclusions.
