The FL character and script are irritating and annoying. Smart and dumb at the same time. But the actress herself is doing a great job. She is doing her annoying and irritating, smart dumb character as she should be.
We are talking about the age difference. I was surprised actually that watching dating in the kitchen and seeing them together, it does not feel awkward at all. That means they are excellent actor/actress. You don't see an age gap difference; you see a couple loving each other. LuJin was so young at heart, and you can feel his love to ward the FL. Gu Sheng Nan at the beginning is making fun of him but she also not afraid to fall in love with him. It's kind of funny because there are more people commenting on Lusi's drama "A Female Arrives at The Imperial College", about their age gap. it's because at the beginning episodes it feels awkward. I rather see the FL lead with the 2nd ML. But the awkwardness changed also as the story unfold.
It's a hidden Gem. Why comment when you didn't watch all episode? This drama you cannot skip or fast forward. Because it goes from 2021 to 2022 back and forth and you will not understand it. I also read comments that they don't have chemistry, in the beginning it was, but as the story develops, you will fall in-love with them. I wish though that they polished the FL lead character. Sometimes she is frustrating. Kind of smart/intelligent and dumb at the same time. I do understand it's a part of the drama (story development) but it could have been in another way. I am talking about when she wants a breakup or keeps leaving him. In this drama I saw a man once he falls in love, his world changed because of her.
Reminder 1: Be professional, both of them accepted the project. I don't think they will proceed with any project if they have conflict with each other. (This is applicable to all actor/actress with any drama they will be involved with. You wouldn't want to work miserably, don't you? Respect their decision. Reminder 2: We are human being, we commit mistakes, but there is a word FORGIVE. Forgive and move on. What I am bubbling all about ... just saying.
It's entertaining surprisingly. But there are a lot of loose ends. Like what happened to the emperor? The brother became the emperor..... I guess they just really want to concentrate of the FL. Or there a session 4?
A warning: I found a version that says is complete from 1-32 but it's not, there are a lot of missing scenes.So…
I cannot watch the rest. Only Episode 1-8 that they aired on You tube then later on they removed 6-8, so they only have 1-5 available on you tube & the 1-32 which I did not look at it yet.
