I haven't really watched this but dropping by here because I was curious after seeing a recent review I saw on…
This is a very raw story and a wonderful watch. If you haven't started it yet, I highly recommend! I alternatively smiled and cried through the majority of it. xD
Based on the story, who is the most secretly hides his feelings to him ?Lan Zhan or Wei Ying ?
That's a really hard question. While LWJ hid his feelings from the world with his composed exterior, he still couldn't hide his true feelings when he got drunk. He even confronted/sought out WWX on several occasions, which for him was showing his care and affection. I'm going to go with WWX on this one. Whether it's romantic or just all feelings, I think he kept them to himself so as not to worry others. There was almost always a smile on his face and he often put on an unworried façade. Really, the only times we, as viewers, see his true mentality is when he's either alone, with LWJ, and on the brink of losing everything.
When it comes to his romantic feelings, his eyes never hid them (their eyes speak a thousand words) but I think he even buried his feelings towards LWJ away from himself. I'm not sure he let himself realize that he loved LWJ until much later when he was certain LWJ loved him in return.
Both are very good at hiding what they're thinking/feeling, but LWJ consistently reaches out to WWX the second time around. He makes less of an effort to do what is socially accepted and instead chooses to actively be the support that WWX needs. While WWX runs around like a mindless paper figure, LWJ sticks to his side like glue and holds him together silently. That to me is LWJ showing clearly what he thinks. While there are many heart wrenching moments, Wei Wuxian doesn't obviously show his true emotions until nearly the end.
I'm just worried that too many cp fans will take everything they see as "proof" without considering the fact that…
Same! Nothing wrong with some light-hearted shipping, but some of these fans go looking for connections between the two. They go in DEEP. Blowing things out of proportion can do harm to them, and I wish more fans would grasp that. Xiao Zhan already got hurt once. It's all fun until someone takes it out context. I hope these bts videos remain lovely extras.
He did not come back in someone else's body. His own face and outer appearance was retained and so was his soul.…
Sorry for the confusion! I shouldn't be answering posts super early in the a.m's, lol. I'm sure the other two cleared it up, but it was Su She who cursed ZX. JG was super loyal to his righthand man because they were two birds of a feather.
I feel that. I think given more time and barring outside forces, they could have definitely been potential friends.…
Uhg, now I want an AU where Jin Ling is caught trying to sneak out to night hunt with Wei Wuxian and is caught by Zi Xuan. Yan Li has already known about it for a while and kept it from her husband so as not to spoil the fun of the uncle and nephew. Jiang Cheng happens to be visiting his sister and provides a distraction for his nephew, and Jin Ling manages to escape with a giggling Wei Wuxian in tow. Jiang Cheng acts like he had no idea what was going on, but secretly smiles to himself about the whole affair. And of course Yan Li knows exactly what happened and goes to comfort her husband who is acting upset, but really doesn't mind the whole affair.
I know it's not technically CQL and all that, and I wouldn't have the story any other way, but definitely a cute AU. xD

@ponnu From what I understood of the 100 holes curse, the person cursed slowly has holes appear on their body which leads to an extremely drawn out and painful death. Don't quote me on that though xD
The answer to a lot of your questions (the latter question about the guy attacking WWX) is in later episodes where the mystery unfolds and everything is explained. I can't really tell you the answer without spoiling it for you. :)

I feel that. I think given more time and barring outside forces, they could have definitely been potential friends. Probably ones who would have constantly fought over Yanli's affection. T_T
I honestly really like the special chapter where we get to see Lan Zhan seek out the lotus seeds by himself early on. I liked peering into his initial feelings for Wei Ying. Specifically though, I really liked chapter 86-87, which has the tree jumping scene. Definitely one of my favorite moments of theirs.
i watched the first episode 2 months ago, but i didn't understand anything because it was all about names and…
That's definitely a thing with Chinese wuxia dramas. The many names and characters can definitely get overwhelming at first. The first few episodes are a little confusing because of the numerous names and information being introduced, but it gets easier, I promise. The CGI is also easy to look past once you start being introduced to the beautiful sets and costumes. Further in, you can really tell they put in a lot of effort to the costumes, flow of the storyline, and sets. It's really a great drama, I highly recommend picking it back up! :)
I always loved that ship as well, but the confession scene (I went and watched it) definitely did not do the ship justice at all. It seemed so forced, but oh well.

That's just my take on it though :)
