I am finally done and overall enjoyable with great characters. Though the last two three episodes so much was crammed in, could have done with 80 total episodes. I wanted to see more of what happened to fourth sister and I would have liked for them to find out she set Madam Kang free.
16 episodes to go and i'm bored now. first 40 episodes stuff was happening, but i think because characters that i had come to enjoy are no longer there
Very entertaining drama but had to role my eye at the last episode when Song Huaein declares his feelings for Awu. So even him, he did all that because of his obsession with Awu? Deep sigh. At this point free Chen from Awu. And poor Yuxiu falling for a man who didn't love her. I am just glad she wasn't alive to see Huaien confess to Awu. But that scene of her crying was too cringe.
And finally, I get what people mean when they say they want "manly" generals. It's interesting to see a male lead who's not as pretty as the FL or prettier
I knew it! Mr. Bai being stubbed by the woman he loves, being thrown into the lake/river and being left for dead was not enough to cause him to betray the Rong family. A man of integrity
In EP 2 and truly a fan is just a fan. This man was having a crush out because his friend was murdered and he's the prime suspect and FL hears him hate on obsessive fans and she becomes heart broken... HER world view is the one that is shattered. Not by the fact her idol is accused of murder but because he seems to hate his fans. Fans don't seem to view their idols as human. Or did I miss something?
I'm not usually a fan of, well idol-fan romances, because I don't think they take this type of theme seriously. They may seem they're having a conversation about the parasocial nature of fandom, but it goes nowhere and the conclusion usually seems to signal to leave things as they are.
But I'll keep watching to pass time, hoping to be pleasantly surprised
In EP1. The way wkwardness is portrayed in this show, omg it's too on point. I want to squeeze my eyes shut. Ugh!! So cute, I can't help blushing on their behalf. I also wish the nail techs in my country did such pop art styles
i felt exactly the same way. i was really confused by how the scenes flowed and i never truly felt the yearning…
Absolutely agree, it's hard to point when they fell in love yet the film had a runtime of 2 full hours to show us. I want to blame the directors, because the actors looked very dedicated.
