I'm pretty sure your guess is correct. I don't know where you're from but I wouldn't know there was Christmas carols in there if it weren't for your comment about it. So even if I'm not thai, to me the cultural difference seems a very reasonable explanation why that choice of royalty-free music may not bother thai audience.

I agree that the MarkKit scenes felt a bit pointless (maybe not the right word but I can't find a better one vocabulary wise right now).

I wish we could have seen even a glimpse of Kalae, Alice and Klui, they were sorely missed. Sab was a lot in the spotlight, Tong and Pok got their mandatory 3 minutes of plot development, Phai got his minute of being a Kit supporting role and Sandee got 30 seconds of being bad at crafting. Why not give us 30 seconds of cute Kalae/Alice interaction and of Klui being excited about the event and looking pretty in his costume / makeup ?

I still enjoy it despite the screen time distribution. With so many characters and story lines, it's normal that some will be more developed than others and I understand that some of the characters I wish we could see more aren't that relevant to the main couple / story line.

About PokTong, I'm not frustrated with the pacing but with the direction their story took in episode 7. For a ship with little screen time, the best solution plot wise to get them back together or on a speaking basis is for something big and/or bad to happen. It's not a bad thing, I just sort of hoped that they would find their way back together through a smoother path (like having an honest discussion about their feelings or something). I feel like that would have been more satisfying but it requires more time than they are given.

While ThanuWayu is a big meh to me, let me give credit where it's due. I actually enjoyed this episode because for once I felt like something was happening and that they didn't take half of the screentime for nothing. I still think they could have cut a little bit of it to give more time to secondary / tertiary characters (I demand justice for the juniors) but way less than I usually do.

The screen time distribution is my biggest issue with this show. Don't give me a soap with lots of loveable flower pots only to snub them for way too long scenes that could be shortened without them losing substance. Also don't give me an interesting couple with a complexe relationship only to treat it poorly with as little screen time as you can manage (I'm a bit salty about PokTong, but they're the main reason I'm watching GY2 so I'm totally biased).

Bummer, I'm not sure what makes it works for me but I still hoped it could works for others :/

Thanks for posting the links! For me the episode comes out late afternoon but I work pretty late on tuesdays so I can't do it until a few hours later.

I believe the issue can be solved by deleting cookies or using a private browsing session. I had the same issue when the show started and after a bit of experimentation using a private session turned out to be a working solution. That's how I've been accessing iQiyi's site since then and I haven't had any problem finding GY2, even without being logged in.

I'm not sure if it'll work fine for others, if it doesn't I can add a link for the episodes when they come out (so far someone else always had time to do it before I can but I'm still puting the offer out there).

I use the same VPN and server location as BadPennyGirl but I don't have a VIP account and it works fine for me. Maybe the 6 minutes limit is link to some connection issue ? I sometime have to reload the page because of it.

It is, the episodes are free, only the extras (behind the scene footage) are VIP exclusive. You may need a vpn to access it though.

The countdown is off by a day, the episodes air on tuesday.

I don't know, I think it may just be some internal error because I just tried with a VPN and it's still there.
