Did we watch the same dramas though? Because 2 of those dramas he had a past which showcased the darker side of his bright character. So they're all not the same cheerful guy. Anyway, I'm just hoping the writing and directing is good and is able to bring out the essence of the webtoon.

I can't wait for Park Jihoon to prove you wrong! Btw, his irl vibe is more of quiet and cold than his more well-known cute idol persona. Actually, even his idol persona has 2 sides - the cute side and the serious side.

Does the novel talk of the present times only? Or does it show the past too?

If you read the interview of the webtoon author, the webtoon really isn't categorized as BL though there are homosexual characters. So the focus is not on the sexual orientation of the characters but on their struggles, growth, etc.

Adaptations usually do change some things to make it more appropriate for the different medium. While I would have liked for Junwan to take a bigger role than Sobin who's just a supporting character, circumstances in the actual production have led us to what we have now. I just hope too that they hint at the Junwan-Soohyun arc (or maybe they might not if they're not adapting the latest season where the 2 hook up). Or that they at least give us the main plot of Jun-Soohyun.

Well it's not yet finished. So to say that the drama straightwadhed the character when the triangle apparently did also happen in the webtoon is a bit unfair to the drama. Let's see what happens in the last 4eps first.

Didn't Soohyun date or had feelings for Youngran in the webtoon? And only probably become gay after meeting Jun/Junwan? The drama isn't finished yet so we don't know what could happen.
