This is officially my No. 1 wuxia drama and one of my top 10 favorite C-dramas of all time! After watching C-dramas for 5 years now, mostly historical and a few wuxia, this one has completely blown me away. Every aspect of it is simply phenomenal. The plot, the characters, the martial arts sequences — it's all so perfectly crafted! I know a drama has truly captivated me when I can’t move on easily after finishing it, and this one? I’m totally speechless. The impact it’s had on me is unreal. It’s not just entertainment; it feels like an experience that I’ll remember for a long time. It's been so long since a drama has left me this completely hooked!

I watched "The Long Ballad" last year. Even though the actors I'm referring to weren't the main leads, their chemistry was so strong that I felt it surpassed that of the main leads. Therefore, I believe they're a great match! ❤️
