Ok so what I have learned from comments below, Immortality has actually passed censorship!! Why is the release being delayed then? 🥺

Casting Shi mei as female, does betray our sentiments.... Even though they haven't changed the leads, but it is going to become BG romance.... The complicated feelings of Mo Ran towards Chu wanning won't be protrayed because of censorship.... On the other hand, we will get some scenes between Shi mei and Mo Ran.... After Mo Ran learns Shi mei's truth, it is just going to be a story of betrayal🙄 how are they going to show the fading away of Mo Ran's infatuation for Shi Mei as he slowly realises the person he has loved and protected for 2 lifetimes is Chu wanning. In novel, Shi mei's true identity is revealed towards the end.... Don't tell me Mo Ran and Shi mei will be flirting through most of episodes! Even though we can't get a full on bl, subtle hints should be given... The Untamed was very intelligent with this and Word of Honor was really brave! But in Hyx we will only see a master-disciple relationship and BG romance themed with betrayal 🙂 If this is going to happen I may not watch it at all!!😖


Lol Kidding, I am watching this for Chu Wanning nonetheless, but if I see any romantic scens between SM and MR, I may break something!!!

It means they will show some romantic scenes between mo ran and shi mei, but we can't get any Ranwan scenes because it is censored 😭 Although we all know who Mo Ran really loved....
