Xiang liu has warmed upto Xiao yao now. He seems cold but started to care for her. XL actually fought with Xuan for Xiao yao & remnants, Cause Xuan hidden all medicine herbs which ill remnants needs & tortured Xiao yao. Xiang liu was injured in battle. He didn't have money but still goes to work for others & collects medicine to heal XY.

Its not that easy. XL infact taking care of some remnants who don't have anywhere to go. He isn't power hungry like CX, nor he was born rich like Tsj. Xiang liu understands Xiao yao most as they have similar past experience of pain & sufferings. They won't abandon the people they care for. XL didn't abandon them, even CX hidden all medicinal herbs to make them surrender.

Yeah, XL is a beautiful character with tragic ending. TH is in drama production. I hope she will do something good for Xiang liu too. He deserves better.

He was judged unfairly for being demon but was infact proven to be angel for her. He died making sure that XY will be safe & happy even if its not with him. I'm glad for FL (atleast she have Jing) but also heartbroken for XL.
Someone on twitter pointed out that xiang liu is wearing red on the poster but he never got married in the novel…
I think its mostly to symbolizes Mlds cp with XY as they all love her. I don't know what changes TH did in drama production but I hope its good for xiang liu too.
