It just don't feel the sense of scifi and romance its like trying to do Armagedon..and those time laps jisy confused me A LOT and I'm just a netflix viewer who wants to get entertained and not worry about what i was watching. Yes,I'm not being racist or judgmental but it is really the reality specially from chinese people. What's funny is that they spread hate amongst themselves and that's why there is what we call Asian Hate.

I agree with the last reviewer here. I love the 2 main leads..they are quite famous actors. The story at first is really cute and engaging but 40 episodes is way too boring and long. They have a friendly type of relationship that has no conflicts. The writers just made nonsense conflicts too make it long. Even the last episode was like a whole movie. And I agree thou the story was cute the chemistry between Sandra and Bai isn't crazy crazy love..they look like 2 friends who have a platonic love. Though yes they were cute together probably because they are just good actors..but there's no fire in it. Even the side characters fell in love almost a few episodes left and again writers created non sense conflicts with nonsense additional characters in the middle and dragging to the final episodes. I was literally watching on Iqiyi TV but I was browsing my phone waiting when it will be finished. I like the story and love the actors that's why i tried to finish it..but to watch it again?...not anymore.

The title of this series should be : FIGHTING FOR AMBITION. If you are looking for romance in this.. skip and watch something else. I felt wasted my time watching this. Don't get me wrong this is a good series and won't bore you. The thing is i was looking for a historical series with excitement and romance. This series is more of war and never ending fighting. The FL and ML have a great chemistry. And a lot would say the ML is stupid..but that makes the story a bit less serious. I didn't like how they manage that even if the ML was stupid, he was the one who deeply loves the FL. Who wouldn't go crazy if you gave your all for a woman and then she abandons you like..I don't need any explanation, I was never jealous of any woman, this is like an unrequited love. The FL only seemed to have a crush on the ML because he was soft and kind. Althrough out the series the FL from start to end was looking for revenge and her ambition to be a General. And on the other hand, the ML was the one making way for the FL to be saved of her being reckless on taking revenge. He also was the one who pushed the FL on her dream to becoming a general. I was waiting for some sweet affection of the FL to the ML. I was so dissapointed that every episode i was hoping that the story would give a little emphasis on the lovestory between the FL and ML. The only romance you could get on here is a very few comedic smiles and when the FL was drunk knowing the ML got married - and that's it. They could have shown a little vulnerablility with the FL's character. Felt like i was snatched with something supposedly good and got drained in the ending waiting for something sweet to happen. And at the end the ML still loves the FL..but the FL just choose her ambition. Clearly this isn't fighting for love.

I got curious who this actress is from Princess Man and got me into this actress page. The series wasn't something that makes a mark for me, but this actress acting was so good. So yes, internationally MCW isn't really known compared to her colleagues who are at same age as her like Park Min Young and some are even older but have international fame. I checked her series and films and same as others here were saying, it seemed she had poor projects or roles that could have brought her to fame after doing Princess Man. She was supposed to be on there already when she did Pincess Man. But for some reason her projects didn't keep to the status where she should supposed to be. Thou Flower of Evil was a high rated series even internationally, MCW's character was not very notable in the public. It wouldn't hurt her if she accepts a different role than those dark themed roles. And maybe choose projects that would highlight her charm and how expressive her eyes are. Just a shame of years pass by her and leading her where she is supposed to be..knowing that Korean entertainment business is very competitive.

Frustrating to watch...thou yes it is exciting to the point that you are going to hope when the antagonist will die and the heroes would prevail. Frustrating to the point that all the good characters died trying to kill the majesty but until the end of the story they all failed and died in vain. And in the end..the ML and FL just lived happily every after in a far away place leaving everything behind. And the majesty still at old age living and probabaly just because of old age that he thought of his misdeeds.

This is so sad..everyone makes mistakes. This is why when things go wrong...never be in China. She already went bankrupt and paid her fees with penalties yet she was still banned to act and chinese people were throwing stones at her. What is so wrong with surrogacy and tax evation that it seemed she killed a person in China. It's just a waste..talking from inter fans like me who just like to see her act since she is a good actress. She is still so young and pretty..common' she can still do so much. It's like what happened to Fan Bing Bing...thou Fan came back slowly even without China and Chinese Fans. Hope Zheng Shuang can come back to acting even without China I'm sure she can persevere.

Hey! Thanks for the info. I haven't watched it..and I can't seem the find where it is uploaded. Is this like a youth drama with multiple characters? If it is I may not watch it as I'm not fond of youth themed dramas..thou the cast are all known korean actors. However if I may reco as well..if you like the likes of this with a hint of historical and light comedy and romance, I'd reco to watch oh my general! It's a Cdrama way back. That kind is my troop.

Same here. Dropped this several times specially that the ones available online aren't that clear since its 12 years ago. But now since I have watched a lot of AsianDramas...I'm glad I changed my mind in seeing this. So much love and smiles all throughout this series.

Loved this series..and that's why the chemistry overflowed.. they both became a real life couple while doing this series. Though unlike the series their real life relationship wasn't a happy ending.

I really thought i saw him in some historical series but on here only shows Queen and I. Anyhow loved him on that series..just not a happy ending for both him and Yoo in Na

She started the Korean series hype in early 2000..now she isn't as famous as she used to be in the past..new generation doesn't know her anymore. It's just a shame because she is still young. Don't know what happened to her career.

It was the female lead Lee Bo Young who really made this series. Her acting and even the character she plays are outstanding. I root for her rather then the ML. Her love for the ML is simply just....TRUE LOVE. And Lee Bo young fits the role perfectly with the aura of being naughty yet classy and very demure.

Please let me know where i can watch the entire series i was in the middle of it when kissasian and other sites were turned down so I couldn't see where to watch with eng sub. Please let me know. Thanks

I being able to finish the entire series. You would appreciate Season 1 more once you finish season 2. At first glance i was like, is this worth watching because Yoko acts like a weird kid. But please give it a try to finish the whole story. You would then realize why Yoko's character as Anueng is like a foolish kid in her 20s acting like a brat. I personally appreciate season 1 now. Because Season 1 was all light, cute and just full of charm. Season 2 is more in the lovestory and drama side. Its like after watching the finale of season 2..I have to watch season 1 to make me smile again. I appreciate season1, if anyone of you feels the same ✌️

I think why Faye and Yoko are like bursting with chemistry is that.. Faye can't have a partner that is as beautiful as her meaning like tall, sexy and beauty queen face aura. Its like Fire can't be combined with Fire. While Yoko is a breath of fresh air. Yoko is fresh, cute, charming, and small. Its like water and fire combined. Even with the age gap in real life, its not awkward to see them clingy to one another. And with Faye's playful personality and Yoko's introvert personality..its just perfect. I thou believe that Yoko would still go a long way. She is just 23 this year and getting famous. Before she turns 30 this girl would become a hottie. Only time would tell thou if they would become a couple in real life. Whatever they are showing now I believe is enjoying their new found fame, enjoying each other's playfulness while working. Enjoying the journey. As Faye posted on her IG, lets just stay this way. So I really believe that time would only tell what happens between them. Since there would be more projects for them. Would they develop feelings for one another romantically as more time goes by or the negative side is seeing the same people everyday sometimes makes us close friends that are so comfortable with each other only. It is not bad for Faye to have develop feelings for Yoko since she is a lipstick lesbian, well unless she is straight that might be sureal. Imagine kissing someone like Yoko? with that soft skin and lips..gahd! Maybe she just values professionalism? Or maybe Yoko also have feelings for Faye but the shy Faye wouldn't acknowledge because of work? Its hard to analyze facts. So lets wait for time to tell us.

I'm just bothered by the livestream watching that's why I am hesitant. I couldn't concentrate on watching because I would have to look at the rest of what's happening in the area and Faye and Yoko. I'm a bit of an introvert so I want to feel like I'm the only one watching haha!. My worries as well is people will definitely spoil after the event. So I don't know how I will avoid social media for 1 week just not to know the ending.
