I just haven’t been too impressed with Yim’s acting in anything I’ve watched so far, but this episode for sure did not do him any favors to change my perception. I don’t think it can be blamed solely on the awful script. 😅

There were a few moments where I was like, “oh maybe there’s something here?” and then it felt like they just kept beating me over the head with the same little schtick until I was like “never mind god please stop!!”

I’m going to keep giving it a chance for tutor and netjames bc I love the kinguea dynamic. but at this point I’m rooting for jade’s ship to come true because there is legitimately more chemistry between Mai and Gus and I can’t imagine what is making Mai crush on jade at all.

(must be some plot twist coming? they met before or mai liked him in school? idk but I DONT get it…)

I absolutely agree but I couldn’t think of any other show that gave me that kind of secondhand embarrassment 😅

I wanted to like this bc I LOVE Tutor but there was so much cringe going on 😭

I feel bad but I really don’t think yim is MC material it’s giving me the pain I felt during secret crush on you.

maybe they’ll tone it down as the episodes go on? (let me console myself with the possibility please😭)

Oof reading this review after just pressing play in episode 1 of part 2 is a real bummer (despite how much your writing made me laugh, let’s get you on the writing team lol!)

I specifically scrolled past all the 10’s because after finishing part 1 I felt pretty deceived by the extremely high praise because WOW OH WOW did it drag on. I binged it ridiculously fast because the beginning started so strong but it really got so repetitive. I guess at least now I know I can take part 2 a bit slower and not get my hopes up too high
