See you "Gold Land" team/casts at Blue Dragon Series 2026 ๐๐ป. Hoping for some nomination for the series and all the casts. Especially rooting for Lee Kwang Soo getting the award for 2nd consequtive years. Director Park Ho Cheol ๐ฅ๐๐ป
Am I crazy for saying that itโs Lee Kwang-sooโs best role in his career?
I will say his role in this and "Karma" are the best after he leaving the variety show "Running Man". If talking in his whole career, I agree with the person saying that "Live" definitely his best acting/role in his whole career. If I gonna add 1 more role, it will be his role in the movie "Inseparable Bros". As a longtime hard fan who watched everything he on, these 2 are my pick. You will learn that he such a versatile good actor if you look at his works/filmography. Btw, nowadays I'm so happy that he been recognise for his acting compare to the past. "Gold Land" definitely bring the best of him and spotlight his acting skill to mass audience. I also read so many praises from many people for this role. You definitely not crazy though hahaha because his role in this definitely attract a lot of new fans.
Cute FL & Not typical ML which I like it, short & simple watch, visually beautiful scenery plus under the sea and diving view, appetizing cooking and food scene that make me hungry. For me it is healing kind of drama without anything to stress about for the storyline.
Love that imaginary ending or dream by Kang Tae Joo. It really hit a lot in emotional impact. Plus, the ending monologue by him was so top tier. Definitely gonna see Park Hae Soo at next year Baeksang 2027 ๐๐ป.
ig it's because the ones that were changed were in their early twenties and wouldn't look the same thirty years…
I also think that maybe the real and most reasonable answer to my opinion. Hahaha, maybe it just me that too attach to their younger version because they act so amazing well in the 10 episodes. I imagine if SunYeong still the same actor, the impact will be more emotional in the Episode 11 during their meetup after 30 years.
This may seem like such a trivial thing to comment on, but I still want to mention it because this drama is so good, and I just wanted it to be a little better. They should have used the same actors from the 1989 timeline for the 2019 timeline. Honestly, it felt a little weird that some characters were changed while others were not. Using the same actors would have created a stronger emotional attachment since we had already been invested in their marvelous performances throughout the 10 episodes. Then suddenly, in Episode 11, we were introduced to new faces for such important roles like Sun Yeong, Seok Man, and Dae Ho. They should have stuck with the same actors and simply used older-style makeup like they did for the three main leads. I say this because they used the same actor for Si Yeongโs bodyguard in both the past and present timelines, and the little girlโs father was also played by the same actor. They change Daeho actor in 2019 while the 2 corrupt polices still been played by the same actors It felt a bit inconsistent to me. However, it still does not take away from how good the drama is ๐๐ป
Choi Dae Hoon deliver such a top tier skillful acting in this series. What impressed me most was how him handled various expressions and emotions so naturally. The performance really highlighted his versatility and expressive acting skills. Easy to said a "Scene Stealer". ๐๐ปBravo "Hak-sshi".
why do they always make people talk full on sentences when they are asleep in these dramas? nobody does that.…
Dont want to argue anything just want to say this only. He is actually 35 in real life so it make sense. If you said that without knowing his age it mean he look like that age. For the girl, she is 27 in real life, but maybe she took care of herself well that she looks younger like her was 18.
I think itโs quite an enjoyable drama. I started watching it because the synopsis seemed fun, and the trailer looked beautiful in terms of cinematography and the way it was shot. I can say that itโs a pretty cute drama. The female lead was so cute to me that I smiled and giggled many times while watching it. I would say the strongest point is definitely the cinematography โ it looks so good that it immediately hooked me in. As for the chemistry, I think it was good enough for me to really enjoy the drama.
Why's the gold smith guy not mentioned in the cast list? I have definitely seen him somewhere, but I can't remember.…
I think he is Yoon Hyun Soo. He worked with the director before this in drama called Chief Detective 1958. He also in the drama "I Am A Running Mate" as the lead.
Kim Byung Chul, Kim Sung Kyun, Park Ju Hyun, Woo Hyun and Im Won Hee had been confirmed to join the casts too. The lineup make me so excited. Can't wait to watch this. It is a comedy movie with such A-List stacked actors ๐ฅ
