I also think that maybe the real and most reasonable answer to my opinion. Hahaha, maybe it just me that too attach to their younger version because they act so amazing well in the 10 episodes. I imagine if SunYeong still the same actor, the impact will be more emotional in the Episode 11 during their meetup after 30 years.
This may seem like such a trivial thing to comment on, but I still want to mention it because this drama is so good, and I just wanted it to be a little better. They should have used the same actors from the 1989 timeline for the 2019 timeline. Honestly, it felt a little weird that some characters were changed while others were not. Using the same actors would have created a stronger emotional attachment since we had already been invested in their marvelous performances throughout the 10 episodes. Then suddenly, in Episode 11, we were introduced to new faces for such important roles like Sun Yeong, Seok Man, and Dae Ho. They should have stuck with the same actors and simply used older-style makeup like they did for the three main leads. I say this because they used the same actor for Si Yeong’s bodyguard in both the past and present timelines, and the little girl’s father was also played by the same actor. They change Daeho actor in 2019 while the 2 corrupt polices still been played by the same actors It felt a bit inconsistent to me. However, it still does not take away from how good the drama is 👍🏻
Choi Dae Hoon deliver such a top tier skillful acting in this series. What impressed me most was how him handled various expressions and emotions so naturally. The performance really highlighted his versatility and expressive acting skills. Easy to said a "Scene Stealer". 👏🏻Bravo "Hak-sshi".

Dont want to argue anything just want to say this only. He is actually 35 in real life so it make sense. If you said that without knowing his age it mean he look like that age. For the girl, she is 27 in real life, but maybe she took care of herself well that she looks younger like her was 18.
I think it’s quite an enjoyable drama. I started watching it because the synopsis seemed fun, and the trailer looked beautiful in terms of cinematography and the way it was shot. I can say that it’s a pretty cute drama. The female lead was so cute to me that I smiled and giggled many times while watching it. I would say the strongest point is definitely the cinematography — it looks so good that it immediately hooked me in. As for the chemistry, I think it was good enough for me to really enjoy the drama.

I think he is Yoon Hyun Soo. He worked with the director before this in drama called Chief Detective 1958. He also in the drama "I Am A Running Mate" as the lead.
Kim Byung Chul, Kim Sung Kyun, Park Ju Hyun, Woo Hyun and Im Won Hee had been confirmed to join the casts too. The lineup make me so excited. Can't wait to watch this. It is a comedy movie with such A-List stacked actors 🔥
A spin off of Jeon So Nee the shaman and her assistant Noh Jae Won will be great 😂. They should give us a least a hug, but I understand they dont doing it because it maybe seem out of place 😂. It just these 2 characters that I enjoyed and attached the most in this series.

A series/movie with Park Hae Soo and Lee Hee Joon in it will never go wrong. They are the real master of acting in Korea. I never know and read the true case on what this drama based on so it will be more fun and enjoyable to me. Watching the first 2 episodes got me uneasy in a good way. They portray the tension and suspense so good and it make me scared a lot. The setting of 1988 make this so well execute and I feel I live in that time watching this.

Can't believe no nomination for Lee Kwang Soo for his performance in Karma at Baeksang 2026. It seem like Baeksang always take notice of the works that near the dateline not the work that been release quite a long time ago. They said the works that been include are from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2026 (Karma was release on 4 April 2025) but lot of nominations come from this year and late last year only. Or maybe they exclude him because he already winning the Blue Dragon Series, but tbh doesnt winning that make him deserve the Baeksang nomination more? It make me sad and invoke an anger in me. I hope his performance in Gold Land will land him a nomination for Blue Dragon Series Award this July.
Oh Jung Se character seem pointless and doesnt bring any significant contribution to the main storyline. The flow of the story will still going good and nothing different even if the character been taken out. It weird why he took this role 😭. The others 4 characters were great though. I'm okay with Oh Jung Se character if it been played by someone else. Seeing his name make me thought he will play bigger role in here because it the Oh Jung Se we talking about.
The trailer looks so good and amazing. Can't wait for the drama and my fav Lee Kwang Soo ❤️. He gonna deliver again as a villain this time too 🔥. I just hope his character don't die this time 😭. It because the last 3 characters he as villains he died in all 3 series 😂. Btw, I can't express my happiness when he get a role like this, he deserved it. It seem like the industry there recognise his talent expecially in acting as a villain.
9.5 drama for me 👍. It not easy to make a 16 episodes drama as engaging like this from the start until the end. It a drama that make you cant wait to watch everyweek. I can say non scenes were boring or unnessary. One of the charm of the drama definitely for all the veteran supporting actors here. As for now on this date, this definitely the best drama of 2026 of all the dramas that I had watched this year. The only reason I deduct the 0.5 only because I prefer the reveal of Hong Jang Mi is Hong Geum Bo toward other characters to be more impactful and maybe a little bit more exaggerated or dramatic hahahaha. Because I love to having dopamine rush because of scene like that 😭😂.
They could make it end in Episode 13 and make it Episode 14 a good 1 hour conclusion happy ending for everyone. Instead they choose to add another variables of suddenly Han Young been accussed of and Se Hee betraying him. Now Episode 14 gonna be so rush with all the unfinish things and more likely we get only 5 to 10 minutes of closing on everybody characters. The main storyline with SinJin should end at that gathering scenes with police ambushing but they decide to make him flee just to make this variable happened. Btw, Park Hee Soon acting today was so fire !!!
