My comment turned out to be very lengthy, sorry :)

Krist doesn't feel and doesn't look disgusted. He just gets extremely shy when reacting to his own intimate scenes. He is actually very shy when it comes to such matters. He's easily embarrassed person, especially when it comes to at least something even a bit intimate. He usually gets all сutely shy. Just like a kid. If he ever cringes that's bc he gets embarassed of himself, not bc of anything or anyone else. And he always behaves this way, regardless of the gender of his on-screen or off-screen partner.

Btw, regarding the issue of the partner’s gender. I'm pansexual myself. I can be intimate with a partner of any gender. But this doesn’t mean that I’m ready to be intimate with just anyone. You don't usually go around kissing everyone just because you can, do you? You need to feel some attraction too, or at least get to know each other first. There are people whom you, for a number of reasons, never wanted to kiss, even if they are of the gender that you are attracted to. It's only natural. And even if it's required for a work, for filming a scene, of course you'd feel awkward at least at first, regardless of your partner's gender, wouldn't you? I would.

In BMF Stories, Krist said that at the beginning (in workshops) he and Gawin both were quite awkward and shy when playing romantic scenes, they were tense and blushing, but then they talked and agreed they'd go full-on and get it over with.

So if you watch the behind-the-scenes, you will see that Krist looks completely normal and relaxed while filming intimate scenes. Both because he's a professional and because he and Gawin became really close during workshops. They fully opened up to each other. Like Gawin said, it's like they were willing to be open-minded the first time they met. As Krist explained, when you do a project like Y series, you have to open up completely to your partner. Because you need to know how your partner feels doing it with you. Especially intimate scenes, whether it's OK for your partner, if he wants that? Only then can you feel relaxed doing it yourself.

Yeah, Krist is shy, but he is actually a touchy feely sort of person. And he's not shy to openly express his affection and emotions as soon as he gets really close to someone. He always hugs people that he loves, his family, his friends, his fans, again, regardless of their gender.
But it’s one thing to overcome your shyness and be able to be intimate with someone and totally another thing to be able to look at yourself doing it. It's a whole different kind of embarrassment. All people are different, of course, but would you watch your own intimate scenes completely calmly?

In fact, if you watch other reaction videos, you will find many actors acting just as embarrassed, some even worse. Many actors do not watch their own works at all. They simply cannot watch themselves acting. In any scenes. It makes them cringe.

And I can relate. I'm actually majored in TV and Film Production, and one of the compulsory disciplines was acting. So I took a part in a couple of stage productions. Those were taped and I tried several times but still couldn't bring myself to watch it. It makes me embarrassed and cringe, even though I've gotten the highest grades and a lot of good feedback on my acting. Yeah, and overall, I often feel weird looking at myself in old videos, don't you ever? It's like, oh my god, was that me? (><;) And all you want to do is to stop watching or skip a scene asap. So I totally can relate to Krist.

Regarding GawinKrist possible future series. Why not? Lots of fans send requests to GMM every day. And it looks like GMM sees them as an official couple, given joint events, etc. They still spend almost all their time together, whether it be at work or just playing games at Krist's home. Another thing is that I personally would not want them to act in just any mediocre series just so that they remain a couple. I mean they are good actors and deserve a good show. "Be My Favorite" has set the bar high. So one can only hope that GMM has something suitable for their level in store. Personally I would like them to work with director Waa again. Anyway, let's wait for next year's series to be announced.

Well, personally, I think, it's quite obvious that Kawi was already down for Pisaeng pretty bad by the time Pisaeng confessed to him on the rooftop. The way Kawi eagerly waited for Pisaeng to contact him back, the way he literally all lit up as soon as he got the message, the way he left Pear without a second thought and rushed to run to the rooftop, those speak for itself. And the simple fact that he didn't even think about Pear until much later, too.
By then he was already down for Pisaeng really bad.

It's just that Kawi himself was not aware of his feelings yet. He was too stuck to his plan to "fix" his past. Because that was his "unfinished gestalt" for a whole 12 years! (Google it) But to put it roughly, an unfinished gestalt is an unfinished business that has become a fixation and prevents us from moving on with our life. It's often the result of unexpressed emotion. So every gestalt needs its closure.

If you take a closer look, you will see that once Kawi was able to give the gift to Pear and confess to her, his fixation on her began to gradually fade.
He wasn’t even that upset that Pear didn’t accept his feelings. Well, he rather expected that. But essentially, it was because it was really important for him to finally be able to confess 1st of all. that way he was able to complete that unfinished gestalt at last. And then he could finally move on with his life.

Again, if you look closely, you'll realize that he's been falling in love with Pisaeng for a while now. As they say, the truth is in the details. Pisaeng is the one always on his mind. Not to mention the way Kawi looks at Pisaeng at times. There's pure love in his eyes.

But, of course, Kawi will continue to think and say for some time: “I still like Pear,” because he has thought of her as “the love of his life” for way too long. it's only natural. It had been in his mind for 12 years! All this, coupled with his complete inexperience in love, prevents him from sorting out his feelings sooner.

But when Kawi finally confesses to Pisang, he doesn't say, "I don't like Pear anymore." He says, “I don’t like Pear. I like you,” because he finally sorted out his feelings. I mean, he finally realized that what he felt for Pear wasn't love, love. It was more of a feeling of admiration and gratitude, coupled with the need to fulfill something that had not been done 12 years ago. And it was only with Pisaeng that Kawi experienced a real feeling of needing someone so badly as if it was the air for him to breathe. He finally knew what true love feels like.

I believe that the speed at which the relationships between the characters develop in this series is very natural and realistic, so Kawi & Pisaeng will get together exactly when they should :)

Partly, cuz it was region blocked in Thailand when it aired, so that Thai people could only watch it on either GMM25 or VIU. GMM only recently started unblocking it episode by episode, but not everyone knows about it, of course, cuz it’s not like GMM ever announced it. But the number of views began to slowly but surely increase. There're currently 8 episodes available, and the 1st part of the 1st episode has 1.4M views.
Partly, cuz some people have preconceptions about this or that, and that's totally their loss. Seriously, anyone sleeping on this masterpiece is their own enemy, they are missing out big time, cuz Be My Favorite is something truly worthwhile ┐(シ)┌

Hmm... I can't speak for everyone who likes to sing, but Krist is not only an actor, but also a singer and musician. He plays drums and guitar. He writes and composes songs both for himself and for others (he produced a song for Nanon, for example) He's currently in the midst of holding his solo Asia tour. Personally, I really loved the "Treat you like angels" OST that Krist sung for the Jungle series https://youtu.be/xkRj0cWVbG8 The way he sings it is sooo sensual, damn. And the way he nailed the high notes? My musical ears were truly blessed.
Be My Favorite OSTs are such a great treat for one's ears too. "REDO" is a bob, and "Thankful" is so melodious and also written & composed by Krist, btw. Not to mention how wonderful they sound together with Gawin in "It Might be You" ♡

At least the episodes' ratings do this masterpiece some justice. I believe the Episode Guide page reflects the closest to a fair ratings this gem of a series deserves to get: 9,3~9,5. Personally, I rated it a 10 out of 10, cuz I wouldn't change a thing.

Deep respect to the director Waa! Deep respect to Krist & Gawin! My very greatest appreciation to every member of the cast & crew who contributed their own piece of magic to create this marvel! THANK YOU VERY MUCH! This masterpiece of the Y series has really BEcome MY FAVORITE ever! And that's saying something about how amazing it is, because I've actually watched quite a lot of bl works since 2015. Moreover, this series goes straight up to my top 10 favorite of all genres ever. It was such a big treat for me as a person, as a viewer, who believes that true art should not only please the eye or ear, but also touch on serious issues, make you think, feel, engage in discussions, teach us lessons, leave an impact. It's also all about balance, and this series had the perfect balance of entertaining and serious stuff. There was not a single dull moment or logical gap. It was also such a joy for me as a professional, who majored in film and TV production and worked in the industry. Because it's really rare to come across such a professional job done. You can really see that everyone went above and beyond. Everything was on point! The writing! The production! The cinematography! The pacing! The acting! The OST! Etc. Etc. Brilliant! It's also quite rare for a film adaptation to surpass the original book. Overall, it was such a balm for my soul! It become such a happy place that I really feel sad to say goodbye. Kawi & Pisaeng as well as Krist & Gawin have really captured my heart. It will be really hard to let them go. I know for sure they'll keep me coming back for more over and over again. Their chemistry is both so natural and yet so insane! And what an incredible performance! Especially in the scenes they shared together. it was as natural as breathing. From now on, my top wish is to see director Waa and Krist and Gawin work together again. I really hope that GMMTV won't sleep on their chemistry and talents and let us enjoy more of it! Also, I really loved every song. I can't stop listening to it. And I hope that "Thankful", such a wonderful and valuable in many ways song, will be also released on Spotify etc. soon. Not to mention that GawinKrist singing together is a pure serotonin for the ears, so please let them keep enjoying doing music together in the future too! Honestly, I could keep praising this work of art for days, because I truly loved it to bits, so I'm rating this gem of a series 10 out of 10! I wish I could use Kawi's crystal ball to travel back in time so I can start watching this series together with everyone from the beginning again. Because even though I had a hard time waiting for new episodes every week, it was still such a fulfilling & happy time~

I mean, I find it strange that "It might be you" (which I also love) is already out, but "Thankful" hasn't been released yet even though the MV was released a month ago... And oddly enough, the MV is not uploaded to GMMTV Records YT channel but to GMMTV Official. And there is no mention of Spotify, iTunes, etc. in the description at all, although those are usually mentioned even before the songs released on those music platforms...
Please reassure me, tell me that I'm just worrying too much when I shouldn't at all...

Me: Well, but isn't that what everyone's life is about?
I mean, each of us will die one day, and no one knows when, so all we can do is just to keep living while creating as many precious memories as we can. This's the only way to live one's life.
No one can predict the future. Not Kawi, not even Pisaeng at the moment. Because when he returned to the past, their future had already changed. I mean, most likely, now that Kawi knows what will happen in the future, he won't get sick again. But whether he will die some other way, or whether it will be Pisaeng who'll die first, or death will overtake them on the same day, who knows?
They can't endlessly travel back and forth between the future and the past to change things. Therefore, all they can do is continue to take care of each other & live happily to the fullest, and if they have to, learn from their own mistakes and accept what life has in store for them.
I believe this is exactly the lesson that Kawi & Piseng is about to learn. Mostly Pisaeng. Because Kawi has already figured this out for the most part. He regretted his past and tried to change it. He was anxious over everything bc he was afraid to ruin everyone's future. But in the end, he settled into simply living his life in the present, thanks to Pisaeng's reassurance & support. Now it's Pisaeng's turn to learn this lesson. And this time, I think, Kawi will be the one to help him understand & accept it.
I believe that is what this whole "Kawi's illness + Pisaeng's travel to the past" thing is about & for. This isn't some cliched plot twist that was put in there just for the sake of spicing things up, or some pointless angst as many seem to have assumed, this is the final part of the ultimate lesson this series teaches KawiPi and all us:
Stop Regretting The Past & Fearing The Future, Be True To Yourself & Start To Live Authentically.
