i do think part of her being cruel besides her hatred for what may did to her (mistaking her for her sister) was actually to agitate (?) may into having the will to live and deal with her blindness, trying to get her to fight instead of giving up on herself

the show deviates quite a lot from the novel (in a good way) so it wont be useful for reference, like for example in the novel may was actually pretending to be blind the whole time instead of only recently recovering her sight, but if im not wrong in the novel i think oom was pretending????

was utterly not interested in the eun jung subplot, the character itself irritated me so much too. other than that i quite enjoyed this show

It ain't a masterpiece but given that I managed to sit through the whole show without feeling the need to skip episodes would mean that it is still quite a decent show. Like someone else said this is really a show full of backstabbing where you never know who to trust and there is no forever ally. The ending was actually very wholesome(LOVED IT) and it was really giving me my daughter seo young vibes. Song tae gon the chief secretary also really stole the show for me in the last few episodes, i couldnt stop laughing whenever he appeared HAHAHHAHA

Also, the jajangmyeon scene in the last episode with the corrupt punch character? loved it

I feel that the uncle is just doing what he had to but I personally don't think he is the villain of this story

its been sooo long since I watched this drama but I can tell you that their chemistry is no joke, they just go so well tgt

just rewatched it and I have to say that I really love the main leads relationship, especially dan ah. didn't really like the other couples though but overall, would still definitely recommend

just finished this entire series, it was a good watch, definitely top of my list of dramas. All of the characters' stories were engaging but the ones i found to be lacking were the older brother and sister's, found myself to be skipping quite a lot of their episodes. I binged the entire series in 3 days and would definitely recommend it. However, I do think that the last 10 (out of 50) episodes were rather slow and could have been better
