I went to this drama with no expectations. Didn't read the webtoon or pay attention to the cast. I read the synopsis and it seemed fun and all. I was very suprised in the beginning: The cast is amazing, the acting topnotch, the soundtrack is very good and the action very cool, the problem lies in the story. The story is very predictable in the worst way possible, making no sense at times. Got a trump card? let's show our enemy. EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. There's a lot of talk about "smart characters" but you don't see a single one. Mind you, I stoped at episode 12, so maybe they start being smart after that.
Take the male enemy for exemple, evil incorporated in the begining (1st episode), he is the most amazing character, absolute mastermind behind scenes. Remember that, because it stops there. He does a lot of shit, has "great plans" but so far (ep 12) he does nothing, he controls nothing, and people fear him "because". The actor who plays him is amazing, makes such a scary face, with such a scary voice and he does many terrivel things, he really does, but he goes from matermind behind scenes to let's blow some shit up and see how it goes...
The director (?) of Rugal seems like the BOSS in the first episode... and then doesn't do anything, don't plan for anything, don't have a single solution for anything. And i don't mean "it can't be helped, we don't have intel", I mean we never have intel because (lack of) plot. Every single character goes like this. I think the problem for me, besides the messy storyline, is that the characters are said (talked) about being a certain way (badass, smart, etc) but rarely portraid that way.
So, I don't know if I can finish it, the twist they are trying to do this time it's too dumb for me to take. Dumb and unnecessary. So unnecessary I can't even. Way too ruin this even more. I am so disapointed. If you watch it, turn the brain off and don't expect much.
Guys, I need some help! So, I just finished episode 9 and have a question. In the first 5 episodes, you are "introduced" to the "dragons", like who is who (in the end, before the credits?). I am wandering , did I miss the 6th? or is yet to happen? Thanks :)

Joannesmith, for what I understood in the drama, the present Park Gwang Ho was born in 1988, and the Park Gwang Ho, from the past, went missing in 1986, right? Therefore it's unlikely that he is the son. In my opinion it would be exciting if it was Kim Seon Jae, but we saw his "dad" this episode, so who knows? it can even be Shin Jae Yi, or not have be even born. It´s so nice when the storyline it's not so obvious :)
