Oh for sure. People got different tastes. I do know some are new to watching such shows though.
Honestly, I don't know why I wasn't into Sotus enough to ever want to rewatch it. I think something about the leads interactions was slightly off for me (I don't think chemistry wise). It's been a while so I don't remember, but characters are most important for me. Then story and entertainment value. Singto is great though~ Singto and Ohm in He's Coming to Me~ Loved that one. Anyway, Sotus was good in general whether I liked it as much as others or not.
I really love how you could tell Pran likes Pat before Pat does/ realise. Like the scene where Pran plays the…
Yeah, that was one of the cute interactions for sure. Did you end up watching the last episode yet? You may as well. It wraps things up nicely. Not sure it would suddenly satisfy the cute factor for you though. haha
Hi. Can someone spoil me about this drama?1. Happy ending?2. Is this drama heavy with lots of conflicts? Or just…
1. Yes 2. Yes, but no. The conflict mainly comes from the people around them. I feel like it is mostly lighthearted. Lots of interactions to make you smile--some to make you cry. If that helps. 3. There is a fairly good reason for the parents actions, but can be looked at as annoyingly unfair I suppose.
Well, it wasn't really an enemy to lovers situation from the start. They never really hated each other or thought…
That's true. It showed only a little of the pretend enemy part. I think they were probably more like enemies as kids, but when Pran saved Pa that might have changed things. Thus making the high school part more of an act for others, but mostly their parents. The thing is . . . how would they show more of the past conflict in order to make it feel like an enemy to lovers thing? I feel like they would have had to do the show through the eyes of one of the other characters. Otherwise, if they added too much past stuff it would probably be annoying because people want to see them at their current age.
The conflict was really more about everyone else--which goes with the outside enemy to lovers situation. It wasn't really about them hating each other but dealing with their feelings and how to navigate the people around them. The trailer, I believe, showed that to a degree. As for them mentioning being enemies or whatever . . . I think that was them just projecting what had been beaten into their heads (maybe like some type of denial). I mean it was probably true how Pat felt he had to always be better than Pran because of his dad, but that's only rival level. Whereas Ink saw the truth. Pa only heard/saw them fighting and their friends in high school just didn't care enough to pay attention.
Oh no problem . . . these types of talks make you realize things you (I'm more so talking about me here) wouldn't have otherwise.
I was really disappointed in the storyline, love Ohm and Nanon (they're real cute) but the story sucked in my…
Well, it wasn't really an enemy to lovers situation from the start. They never really hated each other or thought of each other as enemies--maybe rivals a bit. In my opinion, they would have been friends since the beginning if it wasn't for what was implanted into their heads by their families.
The show was a different take on the enemy to lovers trope. The enemy to lovers happened from the outside looking in, but between them it was a lot more complicated. They have technically been "friends" throughout high school up until they started dating. That's a long time of getting along even though they were pretending not to. They also both had feelings back in high school. Pran, knowing this, wasn't going to actually treat him as an enemy for real. If they were friendly behind the scenes for years before they got separated it would make sense for them to fall back into a similar pattern after meeting again.
I totally didn't catch the sim card scene being trash in the no waste village. Haha I mean maybe they were just too caught up in their situation to realize. It happens. Kind of funny though.
Too bad you didn't really enjoy it. If you wanted the true enemy to lovers type of story it's understandable.
I do like enemy to lovers, but also childhood friends. I feel like this was a mix of those in a way.

For me, it'd be nice to have such a close friendship like theirs. I mean I have close friends, but they are on another level. haha

It was a general statement.
It is only a bit below Word of Honor with comments . . .
