I'm watching ep 8 and I can't wait to see the moment that all the lies Mi told will be exposed... I really hate her. I used to hate Shim's parents too because they only cared about Mi, but finally the mom took action! Way to go!
I never liked Full House, but honestly it's more because I don't think Kim Hye Kyo is such a good actress (which was the only reason I rated Descendants of The Sun only 8, because I loved it otherwise) and I'm not a big fan a Rain either.
But this version... I loved it! I loved the fact that even if they argued, they had some good moments from almost the beginning of the story. When she got sick and passed out in front of his house, even if he didn't want to see her anymore, he took her in and cared for her. He taught her how to ride a bike. He didn't do it just to prove that it was a real mariage, and it made me like it so much more. He was clearly enjoying having a housewife a bit too much xD
In Taiwan, there is Joe Cheng and Ariel Lin. In Korea, we have Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. In Thailand, I think these two are most probably the couple with the most chemistry! Watching them feels so natural, it was really sweet to watch.
I hated Mintra. She was a selfish b**** who just wanted Mike to model for the publicity he made, but didn't care about his feelings at all. She just followed Guy everywhere. Using the promise to try and see Mike when he didn't really want to see her... that was low. And the way she tried to get in the family the day of the anniversary of Mind's death... I couldn't stand it! Of course she had to stick to him like a leech once he got married! Playing the girlfriend when she totally ignored his feelings before... I so wanted to slap her into reality. Well, in the end she wasn't so bad, but still, I wasn't once moved by her.
But I loved Mike's family! They welcomed Am with open arms and warm hearts, a real change from the typical dramas where the poor girl has troubles entering a rich family! Maybe I'm too used to Kdramas ^^ And the grandma is so cute ^^ I wish she would have ended with the grandpa from the dance lessons ^^
All in all, I really loved it. The last episodes was so sweet, I wish it would have been longer!
Honestly I can't remember much of Playful Kiss and Itazura na Kiss love in Tokyo, but this one will remain. I just remember that I didn't like Playful Kiss but I found INKLIT cute.
ISWAK is still my favorite version of this story, but this one is close behind. It's cute, funny, the actors are great, and we see more of TenTen's feelings than in any other version. It's really nice to see him falling in love for a change. But even if I loved it, no scene will beat Joe and Ariel in the rain in ISWAK!
The things I loved the most here : the relationship between TenTen and his mother, the fact that TenTen is way gentler in this version, and the friendship between Taliw and Turbo (they were so cute ^^). Oh, and let's not forget beautiful Taliw and sexy Tenten (honestly, where do you find a guy who can make such a plain tee-shirt look so good??!!).
It's been a while since I've watched a Tdrama this good! Honestly the storyline wasn't the best, it was quite ridiculous at times, but the rest of the drama made up for it!
The actors were really great, and I think it's the first time I like almost every characters (except Hansheng... I really can't stand him). Megan and Baron had incredible chemistry, and I liked all the other couples : Nana + Qingyang, Feng Jie + Zhu Ge, Zihan, Ah Chao. This is one big warm family!
And even if you fait for 17 episodes for her to tell him she's a girl, you can't help but be surprised when Zifeng admits he already knew (WTH? When? Where? How?). That was a twist I didn't expect! I loved the fact that we didn't know he knew, because he didn't change, didn't get angry, he was still as sweet and touching as ever!
I liked it, but am I the only one who thinks that after they started going out together, she treated him more like a little brother? I really couldn't feel any love on her part... I get that people like her but I don't think she's good at portraying love. I got the same feeling watching Full House, which made it hard for me to watch...
Yeah you obviously haven't watched VP ^^. You get the same kind of feelings watching it, and there is no romance either (well, there are hints here and there but nothing definite!). You really should watch it, it gets addictive!
I'm just watching ep 6 and I'm conflicted. There are good moments but some just make me want to punch someone…
Yep I finished it and I did like it better after but still I expected better... But I did like the end and the fact that there was no death and no miraculous recovery, and that they just stopped the drama at this point. It was refreshing!
This drama was so refreshing : no love square, no trouble with the rich grandmother and father, no misunderstandings between the leads, and great secondary characters. One of a kind ^^ And both leads are great actors!
I'm just watching ep 6 and I'm conflicted. There are good moments but some just make me want to punch someone (the ex mother-in-law is completely useless, and his father is just plain mean... His stepmother and brother are just hypocrites...). I'll keep on watching since it has so many good reviews but I expected better :(
Pride is one of my favorite Jdrama! It's so realistic, compared to any Kdrama (even if I love them all the same). I love Nodame Cantabile too but because it is so funny! Even if I realize some people might not like it because it sometimes borders on ridiculous, but some moments are hilarious! And 1 liter of tears is great!
