The preview made me want to watch the drama... and I did. And I'm hooked. This is a great beginning, I hope it will keep up! I wasn't much of a Yoon Ah fan in Prime Minister and I, but so far her acting is really good. And the male lead is very good too!
I wasn't sure if I should watch this drama when it began airing... but I did, and I fell in love! And you perfectly summarized why! Nobody should hesitate like I did, because there are definitely no reason to do so!
I never watched the chinese version, but I love this drama. I was really surprised by all of the actors performance, in particular Lee Joon Gi. It's been a while since I watched one of his drama and he is honestly amazing in Scarlet Heart. But both IU and Kang Ha Neul are doing such a great job too!
Honestly I really liked the drama for the first half, but it's going downhill. Now I'm watching ep 25 and I can't help but feel that every character in here is so childish (except Xiao Nai and Wei Wei, but the rest of them.... even the adults!). Er Xi, Cao Guang, Yi Ran, Nana, Zhen Shui... all these stories beside the main plot are childish. I wish we would see more of the main leads and Xiao Nai friends :-(
This drama is just unbelievably... confusing... It was very promising, with a good cast, but somewhere along the way, it went downhill. I don't know why the writers felt like they had to kill everybody off, but they did. Or make everyone into a bad guy.
20 episodes was far too many for this story. Even 12 would have sufficed. It gets really draggy in the second part of the drama. Sometimes, it felt like they were saying the same thing over and over again. It was not bad, but I don't think I will ever watch it again.
And, honestly, I love Ji Jin Hee, but his character here was lacking... he didn't have any depth, story or feelings... I mean, most of the times, they manage to make us hate or love the bad guys but here, nothing. He was really plain.
What happened to this drama? It had such a great beginning and somewhere, it all went downhill. The only reason I watched till the end was because of the cute relationship between Shim and Dan Tae but... honestly I couldn't wait for it to end. They dragged the story way too much!
Ep 19 was a joke... the guy was in the special forces and he can't even hold a knife or fight properly? Please... That ajhussi just won't die. I'm just glad we didn't see him all regretful and pleading to be forgiven at the end like so many other bad guys. This one stayed in jail and that was the end.
Anyway, I'm still glad I watched it, because main male lead like this is rare (as opposed to cold and rude rich guys ^^) and it was refreshing. Dan Tae was unique ^^
For the first time I really love a second male lead. Yoon Do is so cute in a dorky way ^^ I can't help but love him! I hope they won't ruin him he's too good ^^
Finally some things are happening. It was getting boring... Honestly the main story line is getting old. The only reasons I'm watching it now is for the relationship between the 3 leads and the one between both fathers (they are hilarious ^^). I really wish they would have stopped at 16 episodes, because even though I love the drama, I feel like it doesn't deserve such a good rate anymore... shame...
It's kind of getting boring... They should have ended it at 16 episodes. Their games are seriously getting on my nerves.
I don't even like the relationship between Dan Tae and Joon Soo anymore. In the beginning I hoped they would grow closer and drop the honorifics, but they never got closer. They are supposed to be good friends, but they never even had the chance to get close to each other before all the drama, and now, Joon Soo is becoming a jerk, and Dan Tae is playing way too many games. I really hope they would drop it already.
Good thing that the relationship between Gong Shim and Dan Tae is evolving into something better or I might have dropped the drama, even if I liked it so much in the beginning...
And the uncle... that guy is such an a**hole... Trying to frame his nephew. Wake up old man, the guy was one when Joon Pyo was kidnapped... And honestly? Trying to kill Dan Tae's father in the hospital? Fingerprints, anyone? The guy didn't even bother covering his hands... It's about time they cut it out, it's getting ridiculous... Such a waste of a good drama...
I watch until the half of first episode, but dropped it because i frustrated with the character. Should i bear…
Maybe you should watch a little more before making up your mind. I watched the first episode without really thinking anything about the drama but it got better after.
Don't watch it just because people tell you to, but if you really want to give it a chance, I think you should watch a few more episodes :)
I didn't want to watch it... The title is... well not bad but nearly. The synopsis is not that good either. And the picture they chose... well it didn't inspire me much. But I read some comments, and decided to try it.
And boy I loved it! The story was not overly dramatic like some other dramas, they were fun moments, no misunderstandings, cute scenes, and the chemistry between the leads was here. Up to ep 14 I thought 18 episodes was stretching it a bit, but no, it was easy to watch. I loved how natural it seemed to them to have skin contact. You don't find that in every Kdrama ^^
And even if I hated Do Kyung's mom, Han Tae Jin and CEO Jang for most of the show, in the end I liked every character. Rare thing for me to actually like second leads. And I loved how the mom looked like the sister when she went to talk to CEO Jang xD And the sister! I think she was my favorite. So crazy ^^ I'm French and I didn't get half of what she said ^^
I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who can't stand Jin Sung... honestly what kind of cop is she? She has no clues, no warrants, no suspects, but she just does whatever she want to do... I really hope her character will grow, otherwise it will be hard watching 12 more episodes of her... Good thing that the rest of the cast is brilliant. It makes up a bit for the lack of worthy female lead... I know the drama deserves better, but because of her, I can't rate it higher than a 7 for now...
I hesitated a long time before finally watching it, and I don't regret it! I honestly love this drama. I love Gong Shim, Dan Tae's personality, and President Seok (I really liked how he was so happy to see Gong Shim again ^^ At the beginning I didn't like him much, but he really grows on you!).
And I loved the friendship between Gong Shim, Dan Tae and Yoon Soo, but I'm not sure about the plot twist. It looks like the writers are ruining Yoon Soo with all the secrecy and the jealousy T_T Hopefully it won't go on for the 6 last episodes, because I have a feeling that if it does, it will kill the drama...
