I suspect her father is still alive. The one who stabbed him was her "aunt", which I suspect was planned by the two adults, it was a fake or shallow stab.
Then "auntie" saw her running and let her go. She knew where to find her and check if she did run.
After that, they lost contact. Which was all well and good.
Now "auntie" is visiting their home because she might foolishly visit one day. She needs the key since they are ready to rise up and take over against the corrupt system and officials.
But since she and her hiding father have no idea what her new identity is, all they can do is hope that she will show up one day to take revenge.
Little did they know, she has always been very close with them. Biding her time. Brewing her own plan. Not of revenge, but of taking over the business.
The question is, what is her father's identity in the present. Could it be the keeper they revealed in E03? They made it look like "auntie" hired him so no one will be suspicious?
This is only based in what I perceive as "auntie" plottting something herself, and why she let her go during the attack, knowing she has the other half of the key.
Even if her father indeed died that night, "auntie" knew he gave the key to her. And yet she isn't looking for her actively, she's only waiting for her to return. "Auntie" is either protecting the key or wants it for herself and her own scheme.
The ending, where they finally lived happily ever after? To understand that, go back a few scenes.1. When Lin met…
Extra:
Lin also said shat no matter how far they might be, she will always find her.
And that's what Lin did after she met future old Lin, she travelled across universes/timelines to find Kath. When she found her the first time, it was in WW2 universe/timeline when she died, and she cried. As mentioned above, that Lin cried because it's already the Lin that got stuck in space.
Eventually, Lin found her before they got separated again, and more likely told her to not die. So, she swam up and floated when she returned, changing their own original universe/timeline, while Lin fought to survive. (Remember, she only had 2 minutes O2 left, she no doubt started to freeze on the way back to their space station.)
And the other bonus, as mentioned above, Lin fixed the other universes/timeline, thus, we saw changes in those other versions. Not everything, some remained the same, except that Lin cried when they're not even close in that universe/timeline like in WW2 and the one where Kath was wearing all black and drowned. (Hmm, we can say Lin withessed her death at least twice.)
Can some help me what happened at the end, it was going fine but I didn't really get the ending part.
The ending, where they finally lived happily ever after?
To understand that, go back a few scenes.
1. When Lin met another astronaut who told her "go back and tell yourself to live". 2. A few scenes later, future old Lin time traveled to the Lin stuck in space. 3. Then Lin's Captain rescued her. 4. The scenes from they live happily ever after are the universes/timelines where Lin told all her other versions to choose to live.
Q: Why did future old Lin had to time travel? A: They did not show it but we can deduce that in the universe/timeline of future ild Lin, she's alone. Her girlfriend drowned because she thought Lin is gone. She got too depressed because in every universe/timeline, one of them died.
Q: What effect did Lin do? A: Again, from what can be inferred, Lin also travelled to different universes/timelines, and changed the Lin in each. Instead of choosing sacrifice, she chose to live.
This affected her girlfriend. She got hope.
Remember the scenes where her girlfriend was drowning by herself (the white version), there were two versions of it. One was she did not float to the surface, and stayed under. The other is she floated, after she attempted to swim back to the surface.
That was the change. She got hope. More likely the last universe/timeline she visited, they both remained together. Or, Lin told her, "It's me, I'm coming home from space, so don't drown, okay?"
And they lived happily ever after, in every universe/timeline because Lin changed everything.
Another hint. I just realized now.
The scene where Lin survived, WW2 universe/timeline. Lin cried. She wasn't suppose to cry there because she's a different Lin. So why did she?
I highly suspect at that moment, Lin that got stuck in space took over the body and witnessed the death of her girlfriend. She was too late for that universe/timeline. Which more likely gave her resolve to find every universe/timeline she can and change the Lin versions there. Until they crossed paths.
JL, Steven and Juwon are THE trio and i donβt like how they were separated. Team Rhythm should win first and…
That remains to be seen. And that's what Groove is doing, saving the best for last. So, if it indeed ends up as the winning team will debut, then the strongest team will steal those still in Rhythm and Groove.
If they don't save, say JL and Woongki, F&F Entertainment investors are going to demand an explanation. π I mean, it's a waste of talent. We can forget about the fan votes, example if JL fails to debut because of their format, they'll be the laughing stock in the industry. UNLESS, another company already agreed with F&F that they'll get to pick later, and F&F won't block them. Or, they already agreed JL and Woongki is theirs.
If this scenario is the case, then it means Groove is helping F&F discover talents. They won't save the two because of the prior agreement. However, that's going to be very controversial if proven.
Conspiracies aside, I think F&F will ensure the top choices of both fans and the managers will debut. We still have the M stage. They'll no doubt reveal a very big game changer for the M stage.

He's a regular citizen, so his security is his own, regardless if he's currently an elected politician or not,o. Governments only provide security to the Top 2 or 3 positions.
They should have already given this series a closure... dragging things out like this doesn't make sense. I would…
That detective part after the games started, they were not needed at all since they split it into S02 and S03. Those boat scenes can fit in S03, giving it a "rescue" theme, giving S02 more screentime for games.
When the hell did this drama moved from 2 episodes per week to one per week???I thought nightmare would be over…
SBS held its annual SBS Awards event, so any show during that period of the awards night were postponed. And besides, E12 is the last, it's a good cliffhanger for the finale episode. π

I'm not sure if this was their first high quality scifi production, but congratulations! I love it! I love it! I love it! I LOVE IT!!!
The OST is lovely as well!
