Team Beat just got unlucky with player selection. The players they wanted all those the other two teams. So, right from the beginning they were already the underdogs.

The webtoon in Naver suddenly started to trend especially since hundreds of episodes are already available for free.

I think it has a high chance of returning for another season, it's popular in Korea, at least basid on the episodes, many of their guests and letter senders are regular viewers.

And in S02E11, they just sort of "invented" a new game. LOL. (The cup and ball thing.) That game must trend. Haha. Even the three veterinarians enjoyid the game.

If she's lot protecting her, she's protecting the key. If it's the latter, I think for her it's much better if the key will never be found, so it doesn't matter if she dies as long as the key is stays outside. Still risky though.

If she's protecting her, she probably had plans to keep her safe or rescue her. For one, the Minister of War was only using her to draw out the Prince. I think the original deal was to temporarily use her for the murder, and once the Prince comes out, he'll drop the case but still try her as guilty for forgery, this way she won't return. Probably exiled too.

Which was what the Minister of War told the Prince he would do. But the Prince gave him a better deal, so the Minister dropped even the forgery case.

It depends. The show is clearly set in the very late Joseon period, considering how they have an extensive interaction with the world and even have a red plastic die set. 😅

At that period, when Joseon was nearing its end, I think it's safe to assume they no longer have strict rules for royalty. If I remember my Korean history correctly, after Joseun, it's the Korean Empire next. The king in the show, and the next, are probably the second and third from the last of the Joseon kings (at least fictionally).

Oh, wait. Actually, the Prince already knew since Day 01 of their training when he peaked and first saw the brass key. For a Prince, he should know how women dress inside, and he saw that because that's where she's hiding the key.

So, LMAO, to his denial. He should just admit to himself it's no longer about the key, he fell in love with her and wants to protect her.

Also, the Prince, for how long is he going to be in denial. LMAO. I'm sure he already figured it out when he saw her washing secretly in the women's area, he was just too polite and becoming of a Prince to bring it up. But this long? LOL. He sure is something. Even using the brass key as an excuse.

He'll surely feel stupid once he learns the other two already knew.

I really hope she did not kill her. I do think she is protecting her, and there was a misunderstanding. She wasn't supposed to see her killing her father, it wasn't part of the plan. Because of that, she's out for revenge against the wrong person, when her real enemy is the one she made a deal with.

Re: E08

Looks like there will be a week delay to the final online voting period, since the episodes are delayed by a week.

If it'll be the same as with Universe Ticket, the final voting period will be 7 days only, closing during the live broadcast (E10).

Naah. South Korea hve been debuting 13 year olds since the year 2000. No one talked about it back then because we Asians don't care as long as they are protected from abuse and their grades don't go down.

🫰🏽 At least that was how they did it in Universe Ticket. 😁 E10 is definitely the live broadcast and tally of the final votes.

The real question is how they will reconcile their "the winning team will debut" with votes. If the Top 4 in votes fail to debut because they're not in the final winning team, well, that's going to be a PR nightmare. 🤣

If they go for the Top 7 in votes, they'll be called out because they said the final winning team are the ones who will debut.

That "final winning team" is a trap for them. Imagine debuting low performance and/or popularity members.

So, I'm sure they have a big rule that will upset everything, to ensure they'll debut with the right balance of top performers and top popularity.

Since Team Beat will get 2 trades by the end of E08, this is how I see things will play.

ASSUMING they will stick with the ridiculous "the final winning team will debut redardless of who the members are":

1. Team Beat will steal JL and Park Juwon or Park Han.

2. By doing that, they will definitely win in Round M during the live broadcast (E10). Thi combined on-site + online voting, Woongki and JL are Top 1 and 2 respectively. Woongki has a big gap with JL; while JL has a huge gap with the 3rd (at least as far as the first voting reveal is concerned).

It guarantees Team Beat a solid win as far as votes are concerned.

3. If Team Beat wins in Round M, then the first 7 will debut.

4. Or, if they'll give Team Beat 2 trade options again for winning, then they can save 2 other crowd favourites from Groove and Rhythm.

Unless the reveal another rule that can upset everything.

E09 is their preparation for Round M.

It will feature the final rules and how the winners will be determined. Their practice. New songs. And so on.

E10 is the live broadcast where the final 7 will be picked, and the final voting + on-site voting will be tallied.

OBVIOUSLY Team Beat will win in Round S when they revealed the individual votes will be counted twice for those who will perform for both team songs.

It's comedy. Lighthearted. It's about life, work, your choices, mistakes, and well, being a hopeless romantic. If it's your cup of tea, you'll enjoy it.

Another thing, for future Whenever friends, strategise. If the odds are obviously stacked against the players already, learn to say, "Stop". Yes, the prizes are only a bonus and you shouldn't focus on it, however, if you haven't achieved "peace" like the lovely restaurant couple in S02E10, you'll regret it later.

I especially love the restaurant couple. They understood the purpose of the show for them. "Seeing you already made us happy. We already have a stable life. So just 'Go'!"

I hope future Whenever friends will have the same view and attitude, that way the hosts and guests can relax and have fun too. It increases their success as well.

As I, and many others, have said since Season 01, it's having a casual interaction with big celebrities that makes it worthwhile, the prizes are only a bonus.

Wow! S02E10 was the best episode so far in the entire franchise!
