Title Dear Hyeri
did you guys expect an strong argue when new girl punished Eun ho to apologize????? unfortunately eun ho didn't…
Nope. It was the perfect reply. It's how I do it in real life. ^_~

People who loves to open their mouth a lot during an argument almost always put themselves in a trap of their own making. You just have to keep your cool and listen to them.

Miss GenZ, feeling she's speaking on behalf of everyone in the room + thinking she understood what everyone in the room wants, drilled Eunho about what everyone supposedly want: her apology + what they are all feeling: their egos and reams trampled on.

The moment Miss GenZ said those things, she gave Eunho a hundred bullets against them.

Her reply can be summarized or paraphrased like this:

"I'm sorry that I unknowingly trampled on Miss GenZ's dreams because I want to be better. I am deeply sorry I placed your careers in jeopardy because I want to work harder. I am truly sorry."

Boom. Sweet. Nailed their coffins. Not even Miss GenZ can speak after that.

1. Since Miss GenZ was so eloquent in interpreting what everyone in the room feels and want, she gave them that: an apology.
2. But she made them all look fools and bullies for making her apologize because she wants to be better and she wants to work harder.

Good thing for them because no one said anything anymore. If they still kept on talking, then they'll just prove the hidden meanings behind Eunho's apology.

Eunho: 1; Miss rude GenZ: 0; Colleagues: 0

Eunho smiled too. ^_~ (In real life, you don't dare smile unless you want to openly declare a war. Haha.)

I actually love that scene.

Think of it this way, her reply is actually far more painful and deadlier than if she matched their whining and answered back by pointing every single illogical thing they've said.

omg me too... I wanted her to say "Why would i be sorry to you?" and give her a comeback. I didn't really understand…
It's the right response. ^_^

There's a term for that kind of response. (LOL. I do that too when I'm pushing my anger down, and I don't know what it is called.)

Eunho's response can be summarized to this: "I apologize for wanting to be better and work harder. I truly am sorry."

It was turning their argument against them. They asked for an apology, so she gave them an apology; however, she made clear what she was apologizing for.

This, of course, made every single one of them the guilty party. The bully. The bad people. Because they want her to apologized for wanting to be better and working harder. Hence, not one of them were able to throw back anything; and made Eunho smile too. (In real life, you wouldn't dare smile unless you want to declare a war.)

You don't always have to be confrontational. ^_~

For example, from the beginning of that scene, Eunho was listening but letting their words come out her other ear. Then the rude GenZ spoke, she kept her cool, listened.

When you're in an argument, or you're being attacked from all sides and it appears there's no way out, and you know you haven't done anything wrong, what you can do is to keep your cool and just listen. Let them blurt out everything.

Why?

They'll eventually say something that you can use against them.

That's what she did.

paraphrasing: "I'm sorry that the dream of Miss Rude GenZ there was trampled on because I want to make myself better. I truly sorry that everyone's position were placed in jeopardy because I want to work harder."

She used their arguments and demands against them.

They can no longer complain because as Miss Rude GenZ repeatedly stated and drilled, all they want is an apology. And she apologized.

If they felt guilty because Eunho made them look fools and bullies, that's on them and their big mouths; especially that Miss Rude GenZ.

^_~

It was actually a brilliant scene.

i really dont understand why the staff is so rude and looks down on Eun Ho. did i miss a context? she seems to…
Culture.

Here in Asia-Pacific, you have to be a "team player".
1. Seniority matters. If someone should get promoted or get more attention, the seniors should get it first before you.

(I experienced this first-hand. When they played this card against me, I reminded them that while they're my seniors _in the company_, I am their senior _in the industry_; they all shut up. LMAO)

2. If you all agreed to something, then it is expected of everyone. Otherwise, you'll be hated.

3. If you don't join their little club, you'll be hated more.

(This is where I belong, I don't care about their little clubs; I get paid to work, that's what I'll do, work, period. I also don't sign anything else after the contract signing.)

Meanwhile, in the Western culture, it means you work as a team, and help each other, uplift each other, cover for each other, teach each older, and grow together. If one gets recognition or promotion, they are celebrated. At least that's how it appears; but there are actually companies even in the West with a similar APAC work environment.

I'm not saying it is wrong (but it IS wrong), but it's because the social culture is like that too -- hierarchy, respect, extended family. Since in a work environment there is hierarchy, and you'll be together for years thus it becomes your second family, respect gets twisted.

Having said that, it starts to make sense as far as Eunho is concerned. Some points:
a. While Eunho "apologized", she worded things in a way that made them all look bad in the end. Eunho's apology can be summarized like this,

"I apologize for trying to improve myself and work better. Again, I am sorry." (Then she even smiled.)

That definitely will make everyone hate her. ^_~

b. Eunho admitted she wants to better herself and to work more. We can safely assume that she's been doing that since she joined the company.

This made everyone else look "lazy" or subpar. Eunho probably got awards and more attention before her seniors in the company. Or, ended up getting projects that would've been for others.

(But, little do the sensitive people know, some managers probably gave those projects and roles to Eunho as a trap, not because they trust her or she's performing well. <-- This is actually common in the corporate world; if they can't find justification in removing you or forcing you, they'll keep giving you projects until you eventually make mistakes, and they'll hit you hard with those. Or, you voluntarily resign because of mental health issues and stress.)

c. You are also correct that it could be because of her relationship (or ex-romantic relationship) with the popular guy whose words are golden.

While it's obvious there is no truth that there's favoritism, or she's taking advantage of such, why do they still hate her? The answer is! She just happen to have a connection and they don't; and they hate the fact that they can't use it against her.

I understand this one because I was in such a position once. When I moved to a new company, it turned out that the manager of one department happens to be someone I know and who I trained in our previous company. Eventually, he asked to get me transferred to his department.

That created all sorts of whispers. We were only able to "kill" the fire early because we were both transparent in how we do things. If people can't find fault, they can't use it against you. And people who are jealous of you, they'll hate that they can't use it against you.

---

Now, that's only as far E03. They will probably reveal more things about why they hated her. But, so far, that's the best we have, culture and work environment.

Ju eun ho works wakes up at 4am and goes to work until 2pm. Then she goes home to sleep and hye ri wakes up at…
Oftentimes, people with DID are not aware of their other personalities unless someone told them (which usually is a psychologist or psychiatrist).

Different personalities usually shield each other from each other. The most commonly accepted reasoning is that the other personalities were formed out of deep depression or desire, to escape from reality or because of trauma. Thus, the brain ensures that each personality can't access the memories of the other personalities.

Is it possible for the personalities to have access to each other's memories? Yes, there cases of that. Usually it happens when the personalities were not created because of depression or trauma, and so the brain have no reason shield each personality from each other.

I can't remember exactly, but I think there was a case wherein a person was too deeply invested in having a different life, different personality, different way of talking and carrying themselves, that it eventually developed into a completely different personality. Both can access each other's memories because the second personality wasn't create out of something traumatic or depression.

And then there are those where one personality who is aware of the other personalities, found a way to influence the other personalities, even though they don't have access to the memories.

There are also those who only have partial access.

And a lot other of scenarios.

Maybe a deja vu is like that.
Maybe what we dream is our other personality's memories.

After all, we all share the same brain and mind. ^_~

It's better time to swap ML's, Kang Ju Yeon is more convincing ML than main ML Hyeon O.FL older sister Hyeri is…
Eunho is in her early 30s when she asked for a weird request to give her a park attendant job. When the other attendant asked her her age, she almost said 3-something.

Then she switched to 25. The supposed age of Haeri if she's alive. During that first day at work as a parking attendant, Eunho was only trying to fulfil Haeri's dreams as per Haeri's diaries, the Haeri personality hasn't formed yet.

Based on that scene, it's safe to say that Haeri is at least 5 years younger than Eunho.

Then again, maybe they are indeed twins, and in that scene, Eunho was role-playing Haeri when she disappeared (5+ years ago) when they were only 25; so she answered, she's 25 years old.

Title Dear Hyeri Spoiler
E03So basically,
* Ju Haeri is Ju Eunho's younger sister.
* Because of Eunho's depression, she started reading the diaries of her Haeri.
* And in Eunho's desire to fulfil the dreams of Haeri, she asked for a "strange" request to work as a park attendant.
* This role-playing + depression + deep desire to fulfil Haeri's dreams, resulted in Eunho developing a second personality.
* Eventually, Eunho lost control and Haeri is slowly getting more assertive.

I wonder, since Eunho seems to be on a spiral down, and Haeri is asserting herself, will Haeri become the primary personality and Eunho will slowly disappear?

It's so hard to imagine Han Jihyun from her role in The Penthouse as a brave character to being romantic and pained person. I'm glad to see she was given a chance to explore other roles. It usually is challenging to change your image when you became far too popular with a particular role. (Even in writing, authors tend to use a secret penname when writing for a different genre.)

With the success of her role in this series, she has proven that she can take on any role and give it life. Quite honestly, her character in No Gain, No Love is the one I most looked forward to in the show, not the main character. The way she expressed her emotions through her eyes and lips is always melting my frozen heart.

'Looking forward for more of her future projects!

There is not all that much difference between a rubber baton and a big dildo.
Yes, but you know, most will not pick it for that purpose out of shyness (or probably thinking it will not work). That scene is a lesson that when it comes to survival, anything can become a tool for self-defence. ^_~

Title Love Next Door Spoiler
Kim Jieun never fails to show natural acting. In that E14 "set up" scene,
In that E14 "set up" scene, she acted well what many, if not all, would have reacted after the guy suddenly stopped kissing.

Then a few frames later, she did it again when she replied, "but what you did is not polite".

You can see her frustration while at the same time, deep in her mind, she wants him to continue kissing her. She doesn't have to say, "is this guy kidding me?" or "seriously/really?" By knowing how to act and express it, she was free to say, "but what you did is not polite".

I wonder how many real-life relationships she had. She's an pro when it comes to acting "girlfriend material" or "girl-next-door". She doesn't overdo it. It's just right, yet impactful. Knowing how to do it usually comes from real-life experiences. Hahahahahaha. There probably was a guy like that, or a close friend of hers was like that.

So funny and lovely. I rewatched the entire scene over and over again because I can't get enough of her acting.

LOL. I wonder if they extended the show after the delays, or they already expected it and planned ahead.

I can't tell which episode the gap in filming time was. Usually it's noticeable, like one actor already changed their hairstyle or their built.

I guess that's the advantage of filming in stage room, everything is stored first and thus no budget issues if there's a need to extend, and since it's a long drama, the talents are usually free after they finish filming everything, so again, easy to call them back for an extension.

Just ignore them. MDL ratings doesn't mean anything outside of MDL. ^_~The only ratings that are well recognized…
MDL is not "huge". If it is, it would have been the go to site for Asian Dramas in every country in the world, but it is not. ^_~ Majority of the people here are from North America, just look at how many are complaining why US this OTT and EU this OTT is delayed or not streaming it, and are trying to find a pirate OTT. But you'll rarely see anyone from Africa, Asia-Pacific, and especially non-English countries. :p The Philippines alone, an English-speaking nation, MDL is virtually unknown, and no matter how much anyone tries to get them to use MDL, majority just don't.

> Guess how many reviews I wrote on imdb or any other site you mentioned?

Obviously if you are not posting there you wouldn't have "many" reviews. But if you try to post reviews there, then you'll have "many" reviews. The number of reviews you have posted is not the ruler to determine if MDL is popular or not.

> Because there are barely any people writing reviews for k-dramas there or rating.

At least you are not getting garbage rating like you do here on MDL. I am not saying there are no garbage ratings anywhere else, however, no one can deny MDL is getting the most of it, in fact, you ranting about the garbage ratings is itself proof. ^_~

Anyway, it is your choice if you want to have a headache. Trust me, it is much better for your mental health to ignore them. Just watch. Join the discussions. Post your reviews wherever you prefer.

Like it or not, the trolls have countless of MDL accounts that they use to leave garbage ratings, and post their propaganda. At least they are not leaving garbage reviews … yet. It's been going on for years. LOL.
