As someone who used the pyramid model myself back in the 80s and 90s (NOT for bullying), and as someone who faced off with those who used the pyramid model for "evil" in work environments, those twins are dangerous.
Forget about being twins. Even if it's one person only, they can take down the S01 girls because they have a huge advantage, they know how those girls play. They know their circle. However, because the FL had to wait, it gave her more time to think and be resolute with her decision, it really is time to put a dot in their relationship.
Was it a mistake for the ML to have not left his work? Not really. Work is work. If he did that, and they got back together, if another incident happens where he got trapped in his work, it's going to be an issue.
I know, because, I've been in that situation. Doing it once can make your partner expect too much. Not because your partner is a brat, rather, you set an expectation for them. So, when you can't do it anymore, the other party starts to get disappointed. And if they have bad friends, they're probably saying things like, "he's lying, he's cheating", even though the other was indeed stuck with work. Usually, it's about a person's maturity. But even mature people can be foolish (which then ends up hurting each other).
It was a chance. A chance he missed. However, a chance he should not dwell on. "What ifs" is the most foolish thing any person can do, because it doesn't heal you, it only makes the pain stronger and deeper.

I'm not talking about theoretical here, I am coming from experience. My first relationship, like the couple on this story, were similar if not the same. I took my ex for granted. She made the sacrifices for us. Until finally she had enough.
It took me years to realize she was right.
Did she not commit mistakes? Of course she did. Just like the FL in this story/show. But if you look at the bigger picture, if you take everything into consideration, it was the guy's fault, and any attempt to "balance" it out is only an excuse and a way to sympathize (wrongly) to the guy. That's like saying justifying "he forced to have sex with you because you are his girlfriend/wife". No. You cannot and should not force yourself on anyone, be it they're your romantic partner legally or not. Just like how you shouldn't take your romantic partner for granted.
So, no, in this case, it is the guy's fault through and through. The faults by the woman in this relationship are nothing and negligible, if you want to call it "faults". She did all she could to save their relationship.
Lastly, this isn't about man vs woman. I'm a straight guy. As I've said earlier, I had a similar, if not the same, relationship, and I am not ashamed to admit that it was my fault we broke up, in the same way that the guy in this story/show was at fault. If that elevator scene did not happen, their relationship will more likely end the way it did for us.
Again, this is not a case where both parties are equally at fault. Not even close.

Very, very, little. Contrary to what MDL listed, she's not a main character in this show. Since plays were “invented”, the criteria for a main character is they are at least 98% in every scene from beginning to end. She didn't even show up, not even as a voice actor, in half of the episodes.
In the end, "no man is an island". This is the lesson both ML and FL learned. This is the lesson dead gf wants them to learn, hence, she was given the task to body swap them.
It took them all of their body swap chances to learn this lesson, hence, she said, "This is your last chance." Last chance to learn the truth and last chance to learn you need each other.
If you look back to the beginning, they wouldn't get into all that trouble if they only communicated, shared information, and relied on each other. They almost destroyed each other in the process. ML can't move on and was blinded by bitterness. FL was haunted by guilt (the shadow), she alienated everyone around her, even her best friend hated her.
They both chose to be alone. ML was eaten by bitterness. FL was eaten by guilt.
When they swapped, eventually, that bitterness and guilt remained in their respective bodies, so, they each felt as well. This was theoretically correct if a body swap is possible, because bitterness and guilt are stored in the body's brain. So, when ML came into the FL's body, he became more friendly. The bitterness was gone. Eventually, he's started to feel the guilt (shadow) without fully understanding what, why.
Similarly, when the FL entered the ML's body, her already intense focus on her goal and alienating everyone was amplified by the bitterness in that body, making her fiercer than ever. It wasn't her per se, she wasn't aware she was accessing the bitterness in stored in that body.
So, yeah, I love how they kept the body swap as close to reality as possible. A consciousness/soul is bound to the biological situation of the body they're in. If the body is in a traumatic state, the new soul will experience it as well, and won't be able to just "change" it. The brain remembers, the body was programmed. A new soul will take time to reprogram it.
A softer soul, like the ML, will eventually succumbed to that body. This is why it was easy for the ML to fully embrace being a woman, and why he eventually felt the guilt eating him.
On the other hand, a strong soul like the FL, she unconsciously used the bitterness to her advantage, and eventually shaped the new body to what she needed.
Again, theoretically sound. A true fringe science. Nothing fantastical. No nonsense body swap tropes.
After you swapped bodies and seen each other's body's without actually getting h**ny, and shared your gender secrets (like having a monthly period), it would be a miracle if you don't fall in love, even without those kisses. 🤪
They practically bared their souls, and all their secrets, to each other. Something every couple, who can't body swap, are aiming for.
Btw the last kiss was all smiles and less kiss! 😅 Now I want their angsty kisses back in some Deleted scenes!…
I noticed that too. I'm assuming that this was actually the first kissing scene they filmed, so they can't help but try to control their laughter.
Still, a very good one. Most other actors will show their awkwardness and shyness on-screen. These two did not, it was as if they are real life couples who now have to show on-screen how they share a romantic kiss, and they're giggling all over at the idea/opportunity.
