Q2: How did Young Min retain his memories?
This one is hard because there were not much clues.
The simplest answer is, as Tes said, it all comes down to what God allow. He allowed him to remember.
But if you don't want to accept that answer (even though Tes hinted about the existence of God in the show multiple times), the next answer is:
Because he recorded a video.
Remember in the first few episodes how Tes said there are rules between the living and the dead? How knowledge from the dead must not crossover to the living?
He violated that when he recorded all his knowledge as a ghost in Seung Tak's phone. So, when he woke up, he also retained all his memories because those information already crossed to the living before he woke up.
Another example are the two ghost love birds. When they woke up, they did not remember each other. However, they can feel something is missing. It was not only because love transcends space and time but it was also because of the things they were asking Seung Tak.
For example, the book. Then when the guy woke up, the message on the cover of the DVD case.
Those were information from the dead which crossed over to the living. This allowed them two to reconnect in the living world. Noticed how the girl said he looked familiar and if they've met before?
In other words, if they recorded a video of all their experiences as a ghost, they would've remembered. Once information from the spirit realm crosses over to something tangible in the living realm, it is permanent. It creates a connection. And in Young Min's case, he retained all his memories.

Q1: Why is it Young Min can only possess Seung Tak?
It's because he is a doctor. ^_^
Tes can possess any body he wants just fine because he was a doctor with a very pure heart.
Young Min can only possess Seung Tak because he was too focused on defeating the ghost doctor possessing him, and right before he went into coma, he hated Seung Tak.
This connection with one person, and his desire to save patients, allowed him to possess Seung Tak but nobody else (because of his flaw).
As much as i am happy with the ending and the bromance part...but they didn't answer one important question..."Why…

BONUS: I think the most important question is how come Young Min remembered everything?

Hallyu (korean) ban in china since 2016 because of this many dramas acted by korean artist is not aired till now
The Hans (the dominating tribe in China) and the Koreans have been at odds with each other since 100 B.C. or even earlier. Their feud will never be settled.
In any case, the oldest known Korean kingdom/dynasty dates all the way back to 2,500 B.C. and this kingdom lasted until 105 B.C., it is called today as "Go-Joseon". The "go" means "ancient", so it means "ancient Joseon".
They added "go" to avoid confusion with the recent 500-year old "Joseon Dynasty" that we usually see in K-dramas (and the Koreans are too sensitive about recently).
There was another Korean kingdom called "Jin" (or "Chin" in Chinese, if I remember correctly), it lasted from 400 B.C. to 200 B.C.
Korea's National Founding Day is set to GoJoseon. Yes, both in North Korea and South Korea. It's a move to firmly establish themselves as old as the Hans, their mortal enemies.
So … yeah, their feud goes very, very deep, it is in their bones, it is in their DNA.
Another pivotal point in their shared history is the founding of Goguryeo which Jumong founded in 37 B.C. and conquered the lands of the Hans up north. Goguryeo in its height controlled 50% of Manchuria and 50% of what we call today as "South Korea".
The Hans hated this time period because not only did they lost control over the Korean peninsula but Jumong conquered half of Manchuria. The Hans have always plotted against the Koreans since then, and even used the Southern Korean Kingdoms to destabilized Goguryeo.
Anyway, long story short, they will never be at peace.
You see, even though Koreans are divided between North and South, as a nation, they are unified against the Hans. They share the same founding date. They share the same loathing against the Hans. They practically have an identical "Korean Historical Record", the North's version is more colourful while the South's version is more "evidence-based".
They might be divided politically but they are united as a nation in their feud against the Hans. (Again, the Han is the largest "tribe" of Chinese. Not all Chinese are Hans. Modern China is controlled by the Hans.)
For a newbie actress she was given a very challenging character in The Penthouse franchise. I have nothing but high praises because she was able to pull a psychologically unstable character.
I always waited her scenes wherein she changes emotions and facial expressions instantly as if she's turning switches on and off. Usually, there was a slow change between these switches, or the actor loses their immersion after the switch, but Choi Ye Bin was able to stay in-character.
In Season 3, if I remember correctly, there were episodes wherein she had to switch 2, ,3 and I think there was even 4 times she switched emotions and psychological state in just one scene. You can actually feel what her character is going through and what's going on in her mind.
And to think, her character turned out to have not been taking the meds. The character itself was faking it but Ye Bin as an actress made the audience believed the character was not faking it. A newbie actress doing that is 14 out of 10 stars for me.
In their last special, she can't even control herself in their character goodbyes segment. She even felt so sorry for the character Bae Ro Na. She's deeply into her character even after filming.
High praises. I hope they give her more projects where she can hone her skills as well as show her natural talent in acting.
I'm confused I thought this was supposed to be on Disney+ or is it only on the Korean one?
K-drama on Disney+ are only available in Korea. They release it in the rest of the world after it finished airing in Korea.
Similar to Snowdrop, it was very popular here in the Philippines, so everyone watched from illegal streaming sites. By the time Disney+ made it available here, it was too late, no one's watching. ROFL.
That's what happens when the decision makers of a company are old people. They were left behind by the times and refuses to adapt.
I hate the fact that they’re using a worldwide accessible platform, but are still not making it accessible worldwide??…
It's Disney, all they care about is how they'll make more money.
They're not making it available in some countries and regions because those were their former market in their old Disney Channel partnerships. What they are doing now is they're trying to strike a deal with their former partners to bring the show locally first. They will earn more from that than making the show available in their platform.
Which kinda defeats why they launched their own platform. I guess Disney doesn't know how Netflix is earning.
Which reminded me, when "free-to-play" games with item stores started to appear, "subscription-based" companies can not understand how f2p games are earning. They can not get their head around the idea. Five years later, when they replaced their key decision makers, they embraced f2p+item_mall model.
It's probably the same here, Disney's old people can not understand how Netflix is earning from their business model, so Disney is still doing things the old way.
The murderer was the one who invented the time machine in the future, so the time traveler is protecting him.Basically,…
I have two theories as to why she has to protect him is because:
1. He was not just the inventor of time travel, he is her father.
The problem with changing something in the past, especially a major one, is the snowflake effect. When the world was saved from the solar flare, her father ended up as a drunk. He was probably kicked out of his professorship and lost all funding for his work.
Since she still have the machine to time traveler, when she went back to her time, she discovered her father was either dead or in prison, and never gave birth to her.
She's an anomaly.
And she decided to go back in 2021 to save that version of her father.
2. She's an anomaly. She needs that man, father or not, to solve her existence. She could disappear.
Maybe, the version of her exists in the new reality but instead of her merging, she still exists as a separate person. Which was probably not intended and could have dire consequences.
3. When she returned back to her time, there's a new threat to humanity. Since in her original timeline he was the one who discovered the secret to time travel, and in this new reality he was either dead or in prison, she decided to go back in time to alter his course.
Somehow, he must rediscover time travel so this new reality can use it to save whatever new threat came about, that she alone, the lone time traveler, can not.
The murderer was the one who invented the time machine in the future, so the time traveler is protecting him.
Basically, the time traveler came from a timeline wherein Earth was devastated by the solar flare in 2005. She was in the military and was highly educated in science and engineering.
She was sent back to the year 1995 to gather people who will believe her and take on a high risk project to create the GRID.
Then she disappeared by she project started rolling by itself.
2005 came. The solar flare happened, and we saw the scene "she was right after all".
Fast-forward to 2021, her second mission is to protect the guy who will unlock the secret to time travel.
The question is: why does she need to protect him when her original timeline was already rewritten?
Now that's the big question. They no longer need time travel.
The solar flare intro … that can be used a lot in education. It's far better than what I've seen from educational materials, even from NASA. Hahahahha.

This TV series is a masterpiece!
It's going to be missed.
